THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE
Revoking a Warrant Excluding Roads from Limitation as to Speed
and Excluding Portion of a Road from the Speed Limitation
Imposed by the Transport Act 1949, Section 36
Pursuant to section 36 of the Transport Act 1949, the
Minister of Transport hereby revokes that Warrant dated the
24th day of August 1949* which applies to the roads described in
the First Schedule hereto and hereby excludes the portion of road
described in the Second Schedule hereto from the limitation as to
speed imposed by the said section.
FIRST SCHEDULE
SITUATED within Glen Eden Town District-
Auckland-Helensville State Highway No. 6 (all that portion
within Glen Eden Town District, a distance of approximately 46 chains).
Waikumete-West Coast Main Highway No. 387 (all that
portion from the junction of the said main highway with
the Auckland-Helensville State Highway at the north-
eastern boundary of Glen Eden Town District to the
junction of the said main highway with Croydon Road, a
distance of approximately 18 chains; and all that portion
from the distance of approximately 18 chains; and all
that portion from the junction of the said main highway
with Station Road to the western boundary of the Glen
Eden Town District, a distance of approximately 56 chains).
SECOND SCHEDULE
SITUATED within Glen Eden Town District-
Auckland-Helensville State Highway No. 6 (all that portion
commencing at the north-western boundary of Glen Eden
Town District and terminating at a point on the said
State highway 16 chains measured in a south-easterly
direction from the commencing point).

Approval of Red Reflectors for Heavy Motor Vehicles being Goods
Service Vehicles in Terms of the Traffic Regulations 1936
Pursuant to clause (22) of regulation 7 of the Traffic Regulations
1936, the Minister of Transport hereby approves, for the
purposes of the said regulation, red reflectors of the make and type
described in the Schedule hereto and sample of which is deposited
at the Head Office of the Transport Department, Wellington.

Pursuant to the provisions of the Tobacco Growing Industry
Act 1935, the Tobacco Growing Industry Amendment Act
1951, and the Tobacco Board Election Regulations 1952, section 24,
I hereby give public notice that the number of votes received by each
candidate for the office of growers' representative on the Tobacco
Board is as follows:-

Road Closed by Order of the Maori Land Court
Notice is hereby given that the piece of road described in the
Schedule hereto has been declared closed and re vested in the
owner of the land found entitled thereto by an Order of the Maori
Land Court at Tauranga on the 6th day of August 1952, pursuant to
section 488 of the Maori Land Act 1931.
SCHEDULE
All that area of public road containing 1 rood 23.5 perches, more or
less, in the Auckland District, being portion of the road adjoining
Parish of Te Papa, Lot 4f and Lot 4g blocks, situate in Block X,
Tauranga Survey District. As same is more particularly shown on
the plan lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Auckland marked
M.L.C. 16920, and thereon coloured green.

Pursuant to section 4 of the Maori Land Amendment Act

Releasing Land from the Provision of Part I of the Maori Land
Amendment Act 1936 (Tihiotonga Development Scheme)
Pursuant to subsection (2) of section 4 of the Maori Land
Amendment Act 1936, the Board of Maori Affairs hereby
revokes, so far as it affects the land described in the Schedule hereto,
a certain notice dated the 14th day of June 1937, and published in
New Zealand Gazette No. 42 of the 17th day of June 1937, at page
1502, whereby the provisions of Part I of the Maori Land Amend-
ment Act 1936, were applied to, inter alia, the said land.
SCHEDULE
AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
All that land situated in Block II, Tarawera Survey District,
containing by admeasurement 27 acres 2 roods 0.4 perch, more
or less, being part of the land known as Owhatiura South No. 5
Block and being part of Section 10 on Deposited Plan 7049.
As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked
M.A. 1/3/27, deposited in the Head Office of the Department of
Maori Affairs at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

infected area for the purposes of the Citrus Canker Regulations
1952.

All that area of land containing 90 acres 2 roods 17.9 perches, being
part of Lot 5, D.P. 24139, and being the balance of the land com-

(Auckland Registry).
