Leading Lights—Alteration in Characteristic
Position : Lat. 41° 15' S., long. 173° 07' E. (approx.).
Abridged Description : Fl.
Alteration : As from 8 October 1952 the two fixed red leading
lights on the sandbank 6 cables northward of wharf will show flashing
red 60 flashes per minute, flash 0.1 sec.
Details : Front visible all round horizon distance 2 miles.
Rear visible from 252° to 268° distance 5 miles. Lights in line
bear 260°.
