CORRIGENDUM

IN the Proclamation dated the 12th day of August 1952 and
published in Gazette No. 54 of the 14th day of August 1952
at page 1354, adding closed road to a scenic reserve in Block V,
Ohinewairua Survey District, Rangitikei County, in lieu of the
words “coloured green” in the last line of the First Schedule
thereto, read “edged red.”

Declaring Land in Otago Land District Vested in the Otago Education
Board as a Site for a Public School to be Vested in Her Majesty
the Queen

A PROCLAMATION

WHEREAS by subsection (6) of section 5 of the Education
Lands Act 1949 (hereinafter referred to as the said Act)
it is provided that, notwithstanding anything contained in any other
Act, the Governor-General may from time to time, by Proclamation,
declare that any school-site or part of a school-site which in his
opinion is no longer required for that purpose shall be vested in
Her Majesty; and thereupon the school-site or part thereof, as
the case may be, shall vest in Her Majesty freed and discharged from
every educational trust affecting the same, but subject to all leases,
encumbrances, liens, or easements affecting the same at the date of
the Proclamation:

Now, therefore, pursuant to subsection (6) of section 5 of the
said Act, I, Sir Humphrey Francis O’Leary, the Administrator of
the Government of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that
the land described in the Schedule hereto, being an area vested
in the Otago Education Board as a site for a public school,
shall be vested in Her Majesty the Queen, freed and discharged
from every educational trust affecting the same, but subject to all
leases, encumbrances, liens, or easements affecting the same at
the date hereof.

SCHEDULE

OTAGO LAND DISTRICT

ALL that area containing by admeasurement 10 acres and 18 perches,
more or less, being part Section 8, Block IV, Lower Wanaka Survey
District. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan
marked L. and S. 6/6/994B, deposited in the Head Office, Department
of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Administrator
of the Government, and issued under the Seal of New
Zealand, this 18th day of September 1952.

Revoking the Reservation Over Portion of a Scenic Reserve in the
Marlborough Land District

A PROCLAMATION

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is portion
of a reserve duly set apart for scenic purposes:
And whereas the said land is no longer suitable for scenic
purposes by reason of the absence of bush of scenic value thereon:
Now, therefore, pursuant to section 8 of the Scenery Preservation Amendment Act 1910, I, Sir Humphrey Francis O’Leary,
the Administrator of the Government of New Zealand, hereby
revoke the reservation for scenic purposes over the land described
in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

MARLBOROUGH LAND DISTRICT

ALL that area containing by admeasurement 6·2 perches, more or
less, being part Section 16, Block XVIII, Hundalee Survey District.
As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked
L. and S. 4/971G, deposited in the Head Office, Department of
Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon coloured sepia.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Administrator of
the Government, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand,
this 18th day of September 1952.

portion of a reserve duly set apart for scenic purposes:
And whereas the said land is no longer suitable for scenic
purposes by reason of the absence of bush of scenic value thereon:
Now, therefore, pursuant to section 8 of the Scenery Preservation
Amendment Act 1910, I, Sir Humphrey Francis O’Leary, the
Administrator of the Government of New Zealand, hereby revoke
the reservation for scenic purposes over the land described in the
Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT

SECTION 11, Block VIII, Hunua Survey District: Area, 2 acres
3 roods 38 perches, more or less. (S.O. plan 18163.)

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Administrator
of the Government, and issued under the Seal of New
Zealand, this 18th day of September 1952.
