ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington, this 27th day of August 1952
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE ADMINISTRATOR OF THE GOVERNMENT IN COUNCIL
Pursuant to the Harbours Act 1950, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby licenses and permits Ernest Eric Alan Krause (hereinafter called the licensee, which term includes his executors, administrators, and assigns unless the context requires a different construction) to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and land below low-water mark at Lake Ellesmere, Taumutu, as shown on plan marked M.D. 9388 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington for the purpose of erecting and maintaining thereon a slipway and jetty as shown on the said plan, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the licensee upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule attached hereto.
SCHEDULE
CONDITIONS
- This licence is subject to the Foreshore License Regulations 1940, and the provisions of those regulations shall, so far as applicable, apply hereto.
- The premium payable by the licensee shall be £5 (five pounds and the annual sum so payable £3 (three pounds).
- The term of the licence shall be fourteen years from the lst day of August 1952.
- The master of every vessel discharging ballast at the said jetty shall have all such ballast taken away and deposited above high-water mark or at such place as may be approved by the Minister or by any person appointed by the Minister for that purpose.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE ADMINISTRATOR OF THE GOVERNMENT IN COUNCIL
Pursuant to section 104 of the Rating Act 1925, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby exempts the Maori land described in the Schedule hereto from all rates made and levied by the Egmont County Council under the said Rating Act 1925.

Validating Valuation List Made by Edendale Town Board

Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE ADMINISTRATOR OF THE GOVERNMENT IN COUNCIL
WHEREAS the triennial valuation list for the Town District of Edendale was prepared and transmitted to the Edendale Town Board (hereinafter referred to as “the said Board”) pursuant to section 8 of the Rating Act 1925 :
And whereas the said Board caused the valuation list so sent to it to be deposited for public inspection and publicly notified that such list was open for inspection and of the place where it was deposited and of the manner in which objections thereto should be made ;
And whereas by reason of circumstances beyond the control of the said Board the public notification aforesaid was not published on two occasions within the period specified by section 15 of the said Act :
And whereas it is desirable to validate the proceedings in connection with the said valuation list :
Now, therefore, pursuant to section 99 of the said Act, and so that the intent and purpose of the said Act may have effect, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby declares that the proceedings in connection with the said valuation list shall be valid to all intents and purposes as though the said Board had once in each week during the prescribed period given the public notification required by the said section 15 of the said Act; and accordingly declares that the said valuation list shall not be called in question by reason only of the irregularity aforesaid.

Domain Board Appointed to Have Control of the Glentunnel Domain

HIS EXCELLENCY THE ADMINISTRATOR OF THE GOVERNMENT IN COUNCIL
Pursuant to section 44 of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act 1928, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby appoints Edwin John Harris, Wilfred Jeffers Harrison, Thomas Joyce, Charles Stanley Marsh, Colin Milne, William George Smith, and Fredrick John Stanton Workman to be the Glentunnel Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto; and hereby appoints Thursday, the 2nd day of October 1952, at 7.30 o'clock p.m., as the time when, and the Glentunnel Hall as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

Pursuant to section 44 of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act 1928, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby appoints Mark Kordovan Bercich, Lindsay Cann, Tom Carr, Jack Arthur Chetham, Raymond Andrew Crawford, Neville Featherstone Fraser, Cecil Graham, Alfred William Henry Pratt, and Milan Slako to be the One Tree Point Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto; and hereby appoints Thursday, the 18th day of September 1952, at 8 o'clock p.m., as the time when, and the Domain Social Hall, One Tree Point, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.
