Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE ADMINISTRATOR OF THE GOVERNMENT IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 6 of the Housing Amendment Act 1940, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby orders and declares that the access-ways described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Auckland, and be under the control and management of the Auckland City Council.

Vesting a Reserve in the Auckland City Council

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto has been duly set apart as a reserve for recreation purposes:
And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor-General, it is expedient to vest the said reserve in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Auckland:
Now, therefore, pursuant to section 9 of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby declares that, from and after the day of the date hereof, the reserve described in the Schedule hereto shall become vested in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Auckland, in trust, for recreation purposes.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
ALL that area situated in Block VIII, Rangitoto Survey District, containing by admeasurement 3 roods 5 perches, more or less, being Lot 42 as shown on a plan deposited in the Land Registry Office at Auckland under No. 37678, being part Allotment 5 of Section 14, and part Allotment 2 of Section 16, Suburbs of Auckland, and land below mean high-water mark as shown in a Proclamation deposited as aforesaid under No. 12585. HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby licences and permits Leslie Gerald Trounson (hereinafter called the “licensee”, which term shall include his executors, administrators, or assigns unless the context requires a different construction), to use and occupy a part of the foreshore in the Taieri River, as shown on plans marked M.D. 9378 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, for the purpose of the use of a wharf as shown on the said plans, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the licensee upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
CONDITIONS
- This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regulations 1940, and the provisions of those regulations shall so far as applicable, apply hereto.
- The premium payable by the licensee shall be £5 (five pounds) and the annual sum so payable £3 (three pounds).
- The term of the licence shall be fourteen years from the 1st day of August 1952.
- The licensee shall not at any time leave on the roadside any fish boxes or fish pots or any other gear.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
WHEREAS by Order in Council, dated the 11th day of December 1946 and published in the Gazette of the 19th day of the same month, at page 1918, Thomas Wilford McKay was licensed to occupy a part of the foreshore and land below low-water mark at Dargaville in Kaipara Harbour, as a site for parking vehicles:
And whereas it is desirable to revoke the said Order in Council:
Now, therefore, pursuant to the Harbours Act 1950, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby revokes as from the 1st day of April 1952, the hereinbefore recited Order in Council.

Lieutenant-Colonel E. T. Kensington, F.D., relinquishes the appointment of C.O., 3rd Field Regiment, R.N.Z.A., and is transferred to the Reserve of Officers, General List, The Royal N.Z. Artillery, with the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel. Dated 24 June 1952.

Captain K. H. Mitchell is transferred to the Reserve of Officers, Regimental List, 13th Composite Anti-Aircraft Regiment, R.N.Z.A., with the rank of Captain, with seniority from 27 October 1945. Dated 8 July 1952.
