Revoking in Part a Proclamation Setting Apart Crown Land for
Housing Purposes in Canterbury Land District

A PROCLAMATION

Pursuant to subsection (2) of section 9 of the Housing Act
1919, I, Bernard Cyril, Baron Freyberg, the Governor-General
of New Zealand, hereby revoke, in so far as it relates to the land
described in the Schedule hereto, the Proclamation dated the 18th
day of March 1949, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No.
18 of the 24th day of the same month at page 751, setting apart
Crown land for the purposes of Part I of the Housing Act 1919,
the said land being no longer required for such purposes.

SCHEDULE
CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT

Lot 75, D.P. 15693 (formerly part Reserve 4093), being part Rural
Section 2214, situated in Block X, Christchurch Survey District:
Area, 2 roods 36·4 perches, more or less.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General,
and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 8th day
of August 1952.

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Bernard Cyril,
Baron Freyberg, the Governor-General of New Zealand,
hereby proclaim and declare that the additional land described in
the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of the Foxton—
New Plymouth railway.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of additional land taken: 33·3
perches.
Being part Lot 4, D.P. 2408, being part Section 54, Turakina District.
Situated in Block XV, Ikitara Survey District, Rangitikei
County. (S.O. 22674.)

In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more parti-
cularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 11679, deposited in the
office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured
orange.

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Bernard Cyril,
Baron Freyberg, the Governor-General of New Zealand,
hereby proclaim and declare that the additional land described in
the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of the Otago
Central railway.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of additional land: 1 rood 13 perches.
Being part Section 50, Irregular Block, East Taieri Survey District,
and being part of the land comprised and described in certifi-
cate of title, Volume 264, folio 165 (Otago Registry).
Situated in Taieri County.

In the Otago Land District; as the same is more particularly
delineated on the plan marked L.O. 11669, deposited in the office
of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General,
and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 11th day
