Recreation Reserves in Canterbury Land District Brought Under Part II
of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act 1928

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington, this 13th day of
August 1952
Present:
His Excellency the Governor-General in Council
Pursuant to section 34 of the Public Reserves, Domains, and
National Parks Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-
General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive
Council, hereby orders and declares that the reserves for recreation
in the Canterbury Land District described in the Schedule hereto
shall be and the same are hereby brought under the operation of and
declared to be subject to the provisions of Part II of the said Act;
and such reserves shall hereafter form part of the Motunau Domain,
and be managed, administered, and dealt with as a public domain
by the Motunau Domain Board.
SCHEDULE
Canterbury Land District
Reserve 4489, situated in Block XV, Stonyhurst Survey District :
Area, 11 acres and 18 perches, more or less. Subject to the
reservations and conditions imposed by section 59 of the Land Act
1948. (S.O. plan 7701L.)
Also Reserve 4578, situated in Block XV, Stonyhurst Survey
District : Area, 2 roods 34 perches, more or less. (S.O. plan 8198.)
Also Reserve 4640 (formerly Lot 40 on Deposited Plan 15493,
being part Rural section 37719), situated in Block XV, Stonyhurst
Survey District : Area, 1 acre 1 rood 20 perches, more or less, being
part of the land comprised and described in certificate of title,
Volume 537, folio 117 (Canterbury Registry). (S.O. plan 8198.)

Recreation Reserve in Nelson Land District Brought Under Part II
of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act 1928

His Excellency the Governor-General in Council
Pursuant to section 34 of the Public Reserves, Domains, and
National Parks Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-
General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive
Council, hereby orders and declares that the reserve for recreation
in the Nelson Land District described in the Schedule hereto
shall be and the same is hereby brought under the operation of and
declared to be subject to the provisions of Part II of the said Act,
and such reserve shall hereafter form part of the Lower Maruia
Memorial Domain and be managed, administered, and dealt with as
a public domain by the Lower Maruia Memorial Domain Board.
SCHEDULE
Nelson Land District
All that area containing by admeasurement 30 perches, more or
less, being Lot 2 as shown on a plan deposited in the Land Registry
Office at Nelson under No. 4584, and being part of Section 12,
Block VIII, Maruia Survey District, and being all the land comprised
and described in certificate of title, Volume 113, folio 200 (Nelson
Registry).

Recreation Reserve in South Auckland Land District Brought Under
Part II of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks
Act 1928

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington, this 13th day of
August 1952
Present:
His Excellency the Governor-General in Council
Pursuant to section 34 of the Public Reserves, Domains, and
National Parks Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-
General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive
Council, hereby orders and declares that the reserve for recreation
in the South Auckland Land District described in the Schedule hereto
shall be and the same is hereby brought under the operation of and
declared to be subject to the provisions of Part II of the said Act,
and such reserve shall hereafter be known as the Motuopa Bay
Domain, and be managed, administered, and dealt with as a public
domain.
SCHEDULE
South Auckland Land District
Section 29, Motuopa Town, situated in Block III, Tokaanu Survey
District : Area, 1 acre 2 roods 36·8 perches, more or less. Subject
to the reservations and conditions imposed by section 59 of the
Land Act 1948. (S.O. plan 27864.)

National Parks Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-
General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive
Council, hereby orders and declares that the reserves for recreation
in the Wellington Land District described in the Schedule hereto
shall be and the same are hereby brought under the operation of
and declared to be subject to the provisions of Part II of the said
Act, and such reserves shall hereafter form part of the Wainuiomata
Domain, and be managed, administered, and dealt with as a public
domain by the Wainuiomata Domain Board.
SCHEDULE
Wellington Land District
All that area situated in Block XVII, Belmont Survey District,
containing by admeasurement 1 rood 35·9 perches, more or less,
being Lot 51 as shown on a plan deposited in the Land Registry
Office at Wellington under No. 13255, being part Section 2, Wainuio-
mata District.
Also all that area, situated in Block XVI, Belmont Survey
District containing by admeasurement 14 acres and 16·3 perches,
more or less, being Lot 23 as shown on a plan deposited in the Land
Registry Office at Wellington under No. 14197, being part Sections
1 and 3, Lowry Bay District.

Officer Authorized to Take and Receive Statutory Declarations
FREYBERG, Governor-General
Pursuant to the authority conferred upon me by section 301
of the Justices of the Peace Act 1927, I, Bernard Cyril, Baron
Freyberg, the Governor-General of New Zealand, do hereby notify
and declare that Roy Stanley Thomas, being an officer in the
service of the Crown holding the office of Staff Training Officer,
Government Printing and Stationery Department, Wellington,
is authorized to take and receive statutory declarations under
section 301 of the Justices of the Peace Act 1927.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General,
