Recreation Reserve in Southland Land District Brought Under Part II
of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act 1928

At the Government House at Wellington, this 6th day of August 1952

Present:

His Excellency the Governor-General in Council

Pursuant to section 34 of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby orders and declares that the reserve for recreation in the Southland Land District described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same is hereby brought under the operation of and declared to be subject to the provisions of Part II of the said Act; and such reserve shall hereafter be known as the North Makarewa Domain, and be managed, administered, and dealt with as a public domain.

Recreation Reserve in the South Auckland Land District Brought Under Part II of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act 1928

His Excellency the Governor-General in Council

Pursuant to section 34 of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby orders and declares that the reserve for recreation in the South Auckland Land District, described in the Schedule hereto, shall be and the same is hereby brought under the operation of and declared to be subject to the provisions of Part II of the said Act, and such reserve shall hereafter form part of the Mount Maunganui Domain, and be managed, administered, and dealt with as a public domain by the Mount Maunganui Domain Board.

Whereas the land described in the Schedule hereto has been duly set apart as a reserve for recreation purposes: And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor-General, it is expedient to vest the said reserve in the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Borough of Devonport:

Now, therefore, pursuant to section 9 of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby declares that, from and after the day of the date hereof, the reserve described in the Schedule hereto shall become vested in the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Borough of Devonport, in trust, for recreation purposes.
