Member Appointed to Strath Taieri Soldiers' Memorial Board

At the Government House at Wellington, this 6th day of
August 1952
Present:
His Excellency The Governor-General in Council
WHEREAS by an Order in Council dated the 17th day of
January 1951, and published in the New Zealand Gazette
of the 18th day of that month, the control of the land described
in the Schedule to that document, being a reserve for a site for a
war memorial, was vested in certain persons therein named, who
were by the said Order in Council constituted a special Board,
by the name of the Strath Taieri Soldiers' Memorial Board,
pursuant to section 17 of the Public Reserves, Domains, and
National Parks Act 1928:
And whereas it is desirable that Reginald Bruce Corsbie should
be appointed a member of the said Board in place of Albert Ernest
Macdonald, resigned.
Now, therefore, pursuant to section 17 of the Public Reserves,
Domains, and National Parks Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-
General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive
Council, hereby appoints the said
Reginald Bruce Corsbie
to be a member of the Strath Taieri Soldiers' Memorial Board,
constituted by the Order in Council dated the 17th day of January
1951, hereinbefore referred to, in place of the said Albert Ernest
Macdonald, resigned.

September 1944 and published in the New Zealand Gazette
of the 14th day of September of that year, a Domain Board was
appointed to have control of the Puniruhakau Domain therein
described:
And whereas it is expedient that the said Order in Council
should be revoked:
Now, therefore, pursuant to subsection (2) of section 44 of the
Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act 1928, His
Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council, hereby revokes the Order in
Council hereinbefore referred to.
