Land Taken for a Roadman’s Cottage in the Town of Otira

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Bernard Cyril, Baron Freyberg, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a roadman’s cottage; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 11th day of August 1952.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 1 rood.
Being Section 8, Town of Otira, and being the whole of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 34, folio 62 (Westland Land Registry).

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 5th day of August 1952.

Taking Land for the Use, Convenience, and Enjoyment of a Road in the Borough of Riccarton, and Revoking Previous Proclamation

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Bernard Cyril, Baron Freyberg, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby revoke the Proclamation dated the 6th day of May 1952, and published in the Gazette of the 8th day of the same month, at page 761, taking land for the use, convenience, and enjoyment of a road in the Borough of Riccarton, in so far as it affects the land described in the First Schedule hereto, and hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the use, convenience, and enjoyment of a road; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 11th day of August 1952.

FIRST SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land affected: 14·7 perches.
Being part Lot 2, D.P. 2782, being part Rural Section 145.

Situated in the Borough of Riccarton (Canterbury R.D.).

In the Canterbury Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 136959, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon edged orange.

SECOND SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 14·7 perches.
Being part Lot 2, D.P. 7782, being part Rural Section 145.

Situated in the Borough of Riccarton (Canterbury R.D.).
