Temp. 2nd Lieutenant A. E. W. Hewstone, late 24th Composite Anti-Aircraft Battery, is posted to the Retired List with the rank of 2nd Lieutenant. Dated 1 July 1952.
6th Light Anti-Aircraft Regiment, R.N.Z.A.--
Lieutenant A. W. Coutts is transferred to the 13th Composite Anti-Aircraft Regiment, R.N.Z.A. Dated 1 April 1952.

Captain (temp. Major) H. J. G. Low, M.C., is granted the acting unpaid rank of Lieutenant-Colonel whilst holding the appointment of Assistant Army Liaison Officer, N.Z.A.L.S. (U.K.). Dated 1 June 1952.
Captain F. A. Gunn, from the Royal N.Z. Electrical and Mechanical Engineers, is granted a long-service commission in the rank of Captain, with seniority from 30 May 1948 next below Captain (temp. Major) R. H. Dyson, R.N.Z.A. Dated 22 May 1952.
Victor Herbert Bartholomew, late Captain British Army, to be Lieutenant (on prob.) and is appointed Staff Captain "A", Headquarters Northern Military District. Dated 7 July 1952.

Captain John Gordon Pitcairn, from the Retired List, is granted a short-service commission for a period of three years as from 23 June 1952, in the rank of Lieutenant (on prob.), with seniority from 23 December 1946, and is appointed Transport Officer, Papakura Camp. Dated 23 June 1952.
THE ROYAL N.Z. ARMY MEDICAL CORPS
Territorial Force-
Lieutenant (on prob.) E. F. C. Hefford, M.B., Ch.B., relinquishes the appointment of R.M.O., 13th Composite Anti-Aircraft Regiment, R.N.Z.A., and resigns his commission on appointment to a short-service commission in the Royal New Zealand Navy. Dated 2 June 1952.
3rd Field Dressing Station, R.N.Z.A.M.C.--
The notice published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 16, dated 21 February 1952, relative to the transfer of Lieutenant (on prob.) J. R. Salas, M.B., Ch.B., to the Reserve of Officers, General List, The Royal N.Z. Army Medical Corps, is hereby cancelled.
