Authorizing the Laying-off of Hayward Road (Extension) and Victoria Road (Extension) in the Borough of Papatoetoe, Subject to Conditions as to the Building-lines

FREYBERG, Governor-General ORDER IN COUNCIL At the Government House at Wellington, this 30th day of July 1952 Present:

His Excellency THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL P URSUANT to section 31 of the Municipal Corporations Amendment Act 1948 and section 125 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorizes the Papatoetoe Borough Council to permit the laying-off of the proposed street first described in the Schedule hereto at a width for part of its length of less than 66 ft., but not less than 50 ft., and the proposed street secondly described in the said Schedule at a width for part of its length of less than 66 ft., but not less than 55 ft., subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on Lot 30 of a subdivision of the land fronting the said streets (as shown on the plan marked P.W.D. 137767, referred to in the Schedule hereto), within a distance of 48 ft. from the centre-line of the proposed street first described in the said Schedule or within a distance of 38 ft. from the centre-line of the proposed street secondly described in the said Schedule, and subject further to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the balance of the said land fronting the proposed streets, within a distance of 48 ft. from the centre-lines of the said streets.

THAT proposed street in the North Auckland Land District, Borough of Papatoetoe, being an extension of Hayward Road, containing by admeasurement 3 roods 9·7 perches, more or less, being part Lots 23, 24, and 25, D.P. 7551, being part Allotment 43, Parish of Manurewa. Also that proposed street in the said Land District and Borough, being an extension of Victoria Road, containing by admeasurement 1 rood 3 perches, more or less, being part Lots 23 and 24, D.P. 7551, being part Allotment 43, Parish of Manurewa. As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 137767, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Authorizing the Laying-off of an Extension of Heretaunga Street in the Borough of Petone at a Width Less than 66 ft., but Not Less than 40 ft., Subject to a Condition as to the Building-line

FREYBERG, Governor-General ORDER IN COUNCIL At the Government House at Wellington, this 30th day of July 1952 Present:

His Excellency THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL P URSUANT to section 31 of the Municipal Corporations Amendment Act 1948 and section 125 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorizes the Petone Borough Council to lay-off the proposed street described in the Schedule hereto at a width for the whole of its length of less than 66 ft., but not less than 40 ft., subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the proposed street within a distance of 48 ft. from the centre-line of the said street.

SCHEDULE

THAT proposed street in the Wellington Land District, Borough of Petone, being an extension of Heretaunga Street, containing by admeasurement 19·1 perches, more or less, being part Lot 1, D.P. 1085, being part Section 10, Hutt District. Situated in Block XIII, Belmont Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 137736, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Consenting to Stopping Road in Block VII, Te Kawau Survey District, Manawatu County

FREYBERG, Governor-General ORDER IN COUNCIL At the Government House at Wellington, this 30th day of July 1952 Present:

His Excellency THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL P URSUANT to section 149 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby consents to the Manawatu County Council stopping the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road permitted to be stopped: 5·89 perches. Adjoining or passing through Sections 155, 156, and 157, Town of Campbell. Situated in Block VII, Te Kawau Survey District. (S.O. 22423.)

In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 137759, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

Deeming Western Waiheke and Orapiu Road Districts to be Districts Adjoining the Auckland Electric-power District

FREYBERG, Governor-General ORDER IN COUNCIL At the Government House at Wellington, this 30th day of July 1952 Present:

His Excellency THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL P URSUANT to section 13 of the Local Government Commission Act 1946, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby declares that for the purposes of that Act the Western Waiheke and Orapiu Road Districts shall be deemed to be districts adjoining the Auckland Electric-power District.

Foreshore Licence—Grid—Helensville Creek—Kaipara Harbour— William Arthur Baker

FREYBERG, Governor-General ORDER IN COUNCIL At the Government House at Wellington this 23rd day of July 1952 Present:

His Excellency THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL P URSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby licenses and permits William Arthur Baker, of Helensville (hereinafter called the "licensee," which term includes his executors, administrators, and assigns unless the context requires a different construction), to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and land below low-water mark at Helensville, in Kaipara Harbour, as shown on plan marked M.D. 7716 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, for the purpose of maintaining a grid thereon as shown on the said plan, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the licensee upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

Conditions

  1. This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regulations 1940, and the provisions of those regulations shall, as far as applicable, apply hereto.

  2. The premium payable by the licensee shall be £2 (two pounds) and the annual sum so payable by the licensee shall be £3 (three pounds).

  3. The term of the licence shall be five years from the 1st day of April 1952.

  4. The master of every vessel discharging ballast at the said grid shall have all such ballast taken away and deposited above high-water mark or at such place as may be approved by the Minister or by any person appointed by the Minister for that purpose.

Consenting to the Raising of a Rural Housing Loan of £10,000 by the Mangonui County Council and Prescribing the Conditions Thereof

FREYBERG, Governor-General ORDER IN COUNCIL At the Government House at Wellington, this 23rd day of July 1952 Present:

His Excellency THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL WHEREAS the Mangonui County Council is desirous of raising from the State Advances Corporation of New Zealand (hereinafter called the Corporation) a loan of ten thousand pounds (£10,000) to be known as "Rural Housing Loan 1952" (hereinafter called the said loan) for the purpose of making advances to farmers in terms of the Rural Housing Act 1939;

And whereas the said Council has complied with the provisions of the Local Government Loans Board Act 1926 (hereinafter called the said Act) and it is expedient that the precedent consent of the Governor-General in Council, as required by the said Act, should be given to the raising of the said loan:
