Additional Land at Moutohora Taken for the Purposes of the Gisborne-Rotorua Railway

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Bernard Cyril, Baron Freyberg, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the additional land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of the Gisborne-Rotorua railway.

APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of additional land taken :—

1 3 26·4 Part Whakapaupakihi No. 1 Block; coloured orange.
0 2 37·9 Part road; coloured green, edged green.
Situated in Block II, Motu Survey District, Waikohu County. (S.O. 4723.)
In the Gisborne Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 11646, deposited in the office of Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 23rd day of July 1952.

Altering the Boundaries of the North Canterbury Electric-power District

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Electric-power Boards Act 1925, I, Bernard Cyril, Baron Freyberg, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby alter the boundaries of the North Canterbury Electric-power District so as to include therein the area described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE
ALL that area in the Marlborough Land District, being portion of the Kaikoura County bounded by a line commencing at a point at the mouth of the Conway River in the middle thereof, and proceeding in a westerly and northerly direction generally along the middle of the said river to a point due west of the mouth of the Spey Stream, in Block XVI, Hundalee Survey District; thence due east to the western boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 1131; thence in a northerly and southerly direction generally along the western, northern, and eastern boundaries of Lot 1, D.P. 1131 aforesaid, to a point on the aforesaid eastern boundary in line with the northern boundary of part Section 4, Block XXI, Hundalee Survey District; thence in an easterly direction across the Picton-Christchurch State Highway and along the northern boundaries of part Sections 4 and 5, Block XXI, Hundalee Survey District, to the western boundary of Section 13, Block XXI, Hundalee Survey District; thence northerly along the western boundaries of Sections 13, 12, 11, Block XXI aforesaid, and Section 17, Block XVIII, Hundalee Survey District, to the northernmost corner of Section 17 aforesaid; thence south-easterly along the north-eastern boundary of Section 17 aforesaid, and the prolongation of the said north-eastern boundary to the sea-coast, thence southerly along the sea-coast to the point of commencement.
As the same is more particularly shown on the plan marked S.H.D. 199, deposited in the office of the Minister in Charge of the State Hydro-electric Department, and thereon bordered red.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Bernard Cyril, Baron Freyberg, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the additional land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a public school; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 4th day of August 1952.

Situated in Block V, Halswell Survey District (Canterbury R.D.). (S.O. 8463.)
In the Canterbury Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 137712, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Bernard Cyril, Baron Freyberg, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of a public school (teacher’s residence); and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 4th day of August 1952.
