HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to subsection (1) (b) of section 7 of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby revokes the reservation for Municipal purposes over the lands described in the Schedule hereto; and hereby declares that the said lands, being vested in the Crown, are Crown lands available for disposal under the Land Act 1948.

CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT

RESERVE 3448, situated in Block II, Township of Morven, situated in Block VII, Waitaki Survey District: Area, 2 roods, more or less. (S.O. plan 1463L).

Also Reserve 3450, situated in Block I, Township of Morven, situated in Block VII, Waitaki Survey District: Area, 2 roods, more or less. (S.O. plan 1463L.)

Revoking the Reservation Over Reserves in the Canterbury Land District

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to subsection (1) (b) of section 7 of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby revokes the reservation for a site for a pound over the land described in the First Schedule hereto; and hereby revokes the reservation for a pound and pound-keeper’s house over the land described in the Second Schedule hereto; and hereby declares that the said lands, being vested in the Crown, are Crown lands available for disposal under the Land Act 1948.

FIRST SCHEDULE

CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT

ALL that area containing by admeasurement 1 rood 15 perches, more or less, being part Reserve 1373. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 22/4103c, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red. (S.O. plan Black map 308.)

SECOND SCHEDULE

CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT

ALL that area containing by admeasurement 2 roods 17 perches, more or less, being part Reserve 1847, and being the whole of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 183, folio 295 (Canterbury Registry). As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 22/4103c, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red. ALL that area in the City of Wanganui, containing by admeasurement 18·18 perches, more or less, being parts of Sections 259 and 262, Town of Wanganui: Bounded, commencing at the southernmost corner of Section 260, Town of Wanganui, in a south-westerly direction along the north-western side of Maria Place for a distance of 113·82 links; thence along right lines bearing 316° 14′ distance 110·92 links, and bearing 39° 05′ 40″ distance 96·29 links to the south-western boundary of Section 261, Town of Wanganui; thence in a south-easterly direction along the south-western boundaries of Sections 261 and 260 to the southernmost corner of Section 260, the point of commencement.
