Revoking a Proclamation Declaring Land Acquired for a Government Work, and Not Required for That Purpose, to be Crown Land

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Bernard Cyril, Baron Freyberg, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby revoke the Proclamation dated the 5th day of April 1952, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 27 of the 10th day of the same month, at page 668, declaring land acquired for a Government work, and not required for that purpose, to be Crown land subject to the Land Act 1948.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 30th day of June 1952.

Revoking a Proclamation Setting Apart Land Held for Housing Purposes for a Workers’ Hostel in Block II, Wairoa Survey District

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Bernard Cyril, Baron Freyberg, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby revoke the Proclamation dated the 7th day of March 1952 and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 21 of the 13th day of March 1952, at page 367, setting apart land held for housing purposes for a workers’ hostel in Block II, Wairoa Survey District.

PURSUANT to section 246 of the Maori Land Act 1931, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorizes the sale to Waimoana Farm, Limited, of all the land described in the Schedule hereto or any interest therein, notwithstanding the provisions of Part XII of the said Act.

Authorizing Horace James Macalister, of Invercargill, Solicitor, to Erect and Use Certain Electric Lines in the County of Stewart Island

At the Government House at Wellington, this 25th day of June 1952
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorizes Horace James Macalister, of Invercargill, Solicitor (hereinafter referred to as the licensee), subject to the conditions hereinafter set forth, to lay, construct, put up, place, and use the electric lines described in the Schedule hereto.
CONDITIONS
- IMPLIED CONDITIONS
THE conditions directed to be implied in all licences by the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935 and the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1935 shall be incorporated in and shall form part of this licence, except in so far as the same may be inconsistent with the provisions hereof.
- LICENCE SUBJECT TO REGULATIONS
In respect of the electric lines hereby authorized the licensee shall comply with the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935, the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1935, the Radio Interference Regulations 1934, and with all regulations hereafter made in amendment thereof or in substitution therefor respectively.
- SYSTEM OF SUPPLY
The system of supply shall be an alternating-current system as described in paragraph (d) of regulation 21–01 of the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935.
- DURATION OF LICENCE
Unless sooner lawfully determined, this licence shall continue in force until the 31st day of March 1973.
SCHEDULE
LINES for the supply of electrical energy, by the system of supply hereinbefore described, commencing from the licensee’s generator situated in part Section 107 and proceeding in a north-westerly direction to a pole and thence:—
(a) In a southerly direction to a residence, thence in a south-westerly direction to a workshop, both situated in the said part Section 107;
(b) In a north-easterly direction to a boat-shed erected on the foreshore of Paterson Inlet.
(c) In a northerly direction across a public road to a cottage situated in Lot 5 of the said part Section 107.
All being situated in Block I, Paterson Survey District, in the County of Stewart Island. The said lines being more particularly shown by means of red lines on the plan marked S.H.D. 205, deposited in the office of the Minister in Charge of the State Hydro-electric Department.

Authorizing the Sale and Removal of any Stone, Gravel, or Shingle Upon or Under Land Vested in Her Majesty for the Purposes of a Quarry

PURSUANT to section 40 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorizes the sale and removal of any stone, gravel, of shingle upon or under the land described in the Schedules hereto, the land in the First Schedule being vested in Her Majesty for the purposes of a quarry by virtue of a Proclamation issued under the Public Works Act 1928, dated the 27th day of May 1939, and published in Gazette No. 39, of the 1st day of June 1939, at page 1620, and the land in the Second Schedule hereto being set apart for the purposes of a quarry by virtue of a Proclamation issued under the Public Works Act 1928, dated the 1st day of August 1939, and published in Gazette No. 59, of the 3rd day of August 1939, at page 2094.

Being the land in Proclamation No. 815, being formerly closed road adjoining Kaiti Nos. 269 and 272 Blocks.
Situated in Block IV, Turanganui Survey District (Gisborne R.D.). (S.O. 1595.)
In the Gisborne Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 102729, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.
