Authorizing the Laying-off of a Street Off Mulford Street (Samson Road), in the Borough of Green Island, of a Width Less than 66 ft., but Not Less Than 40 ft., Subject to a Condition as to the Building-lines

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 31 of the Municipal Corporations Amendment Act 1948, and section 125 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorizes the Green Island Borough Council to permit the laying-off of the proposed street described in the Schedule hereto at a width for part of its length of less than 66 ft., but not less than 40 ft., subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on Lot 1 on a plan lodged for deposit in the Land Registry Office at Dunedin under No. 7362, within a distance of 48 ft. from the centre-line of the said street, or on Lot 2 on the said plan within a distance of 33 ft. from the centre-line of the said street.

THAT proposed street in the Otago Land District, Borough of Green Island, containing by admeasurement 29·19 perches, more or less, being Lot 3 on a plan lodged for deposit under No. 7362 (Otago Land Registry) being part Lot 1, D.P. 7082, and being part Section 42, Block V, Lower Kaikorai Survey District.
As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 136823, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Declaring Portion of Rauriki Road in the Waitomo County, to be County Road

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 112 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby orders and declares that the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become county road.

SCHEDULE
ALL that portion of road in the Taranaki Land District, Waitomo County, known as Rauriki Road in Block VIII, Totoro Survey District, commencing at its junction with Kohua Road at the western corner of Lot 1, D.P. 5005, and proceeding thence in a generally easterly and south-easterly direction along the northern boundary of Section 11, through Section 10, and along portion of the north-eastern boundary of Section 12, all in Block VIII, Totoro Survey District, for a total distance of 93 chains, more or less. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 137341, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

PURSUANT to section 5 of the Maori Purposes Act 1937, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby sets apart and reserves the Maori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto as a Maori reservation for the common use of the Ngatiawa, Ngatitoa, and Ngati Raukawa Tribes as a meeting-place.
