Proclaiming Road-lines Laid Out in Block XV, Tauranga Survey District, South Auckland Land District, to be Public Roads

A PROCLAMATION

WHEREAS the land described in the First Schedule hereto was, by order of the Maori Land Court made on the 27th day of February 1912, duly laid out as a road-line in pursuance of section 117 of the Maori Land Act 1909 :

And whereas the land described in the Second Schedule hereto was, by an order of the Maori Land Court made on the 20th day of July 1936, duly laid out as a road-line in pursuance of section 477 of the Maori Land Act 1931 :

And whereas the said Court is of the opinion that it is in the public interest that the said road-lines should be proclaimed as public roads and notifications to that effect have been forwarded to the Minister of Lands in terms of section 486 of the Maori Land Act 1931 :

And whereas one month’s notice in writing of the intention to proclaim the said road-lines as public roads has been given by the Surveyor-General to the local authority of the district concerned, in terms of subsection (2) of section 487 of the Maori Land Act 1931 :

And whereas it is now expedient that the said road-lines should be proclaimed as public roads :

Now, therefore, pursuant to section 487 of the Maori Land Act 1931, I, Bernard Cyril, Baron Freyberg, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim as public roads the roads described in the First and Second Schedules hereto.

FIRST SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land proclaimed as a road : 1 acre 1 rood 4 perches.

Being portion of Ngapeke No. 1f Block ; coloured yellow.

Situated in Block XV, Tauranga Survey District. (M.L. plan 12720.)

SECOND SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land proclaimed as a road : 3 roods 10 perches.

Being portion of Ngapeke No. 1f 2 Block.

Situated in Block XV, Tauranga Survey District ; coloured blue. (M.L. plan 16182.)

In the South Auckland Land District ; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 16/3174, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, under No. 3089, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 16th day of May 1952.

Proclaiming a Road-line Laid Out in Block II, Waoku Survey District, North Auckland Land District, to be a Public Road

A PROCLAMATION

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto was, by an order of the Maori Land Court made on the 14th day of February 1952, duly laid out as a road-line in pursuance of sections 162, 478, and 479 of the Maori Land Act 1931 :

And whereas the said Court is of the opinion that it is in the public interest that the said road-line should be proclaimed as a public road, and a notification to that effect has been forwarded to the Minister of Lands, in terms of section 486 of the said Act :

And whereas one month’s notice in writing of the intention to proclaim the said road-line as a public road has been given by the Surveyor-General to the local authority of the district concerned, in terms of subsection (2) of section 487 of the said Act :

And whereas it is now expedient that the said road-line should be proclaimed as a public road :

Now, therefore, pursuant to section 487 of the Maori Land Act 1931, I, Bernard Cyril, Baron Freyberg, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim as a public road the road described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

Being portion of Ahikawariki Block.

Situated in Block II, Waoku Survey District. (M.L. plan 13459.)

In the North Auckland Land District ; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 16/3179, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey at Wellington, under No. 3088, and thereon coloured red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 16th day of May 1952.

Land Subject to the Housing Act 1919, Declared Crown Land Available for Reservation Under the Land Act 1948

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to subsection (1) of section 8 of the Housing Amendment Act 1940, I, Bernard Cyril, Baron Freyberg, the Governor-General of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare the land described in the Schedule hereto, being land subject to the Housing Act 1919, to be Crown land available for reservation under the Land Act 1948.
