Special Arrangements for the Provision of Medical and Pharmaceutical Services for the Residents of the Collingwood County

THE Minister of Health hereby notifies for general information that, pursuant to section 82 of the Social Security Act 1938, as amended by section 12 (1) of the Social Security Amendment Act 1941, and section 20 of the Social Security Amendment Act 1947, he has made special arrangements by which all persons usually resident in the district described in the Schedule hereto are, on and after the 1st day of April 1952, entitled to receive without charge, at the hands of Dr. Alan Stoddart Lambert, of Collingwood, registered medical practitioner, or such other registered medical practitioner as may be at any time appointed for the purpose, all such medical and pharmaceutical requirements as are provided as benefits in accordance with the Social Security (Medical Benefits) Regulations 1941*, the Social Security (General Medical Services) Regulations 1950†, and the Social Security (Pharmaceutical Supplies) Regulations 1941‡.

Notice of Intention to Take Land in Block II, Punakitere Survey District, for a Quarry and for the Purposes of a Road
NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to take the land first described in the Schedule hereto for a quarry and the land secondly described in the Schedule hereto for the purposes of a road: And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the post-office at Kaikohe and is there open for inspection; and that all persons affected by the taking of the said land should, if they have any well-grounded objections to the taking of such land, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Works at Wellington.
