NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

NOTICE is hereby given that the Lower Hutt City Council proposes, by virtue of the Public Works Act 1928 and the Municipal Corporations Act 1933 and their respective amendments and all other Acts and powers it thereunto enabling, to execute a public work—to wit, the provision of a pleasure-ground and gardens (by way of extension of Riddiford Park) within the City—and for the purposes of such public work the pieces of land more particularly described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken; And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the said pieces of land so required to be taken is deposited at the offices of the Council; situate at the corner of Laings Road and High Street in the said City, and is there open for inspection; And notice is hereby further given that all persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said pieces of land or any one or more of them, should, if they have any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said pieces of land or any one or more of them set forth the same in writing and send such writing, within forty (40) days from the first publication of this notice, to the Lower Hutt City Council at its offices situate as aforesaid.

SCHEDULE

1. All that piece of land situate in the City of Lower Hutt containing 21·4 perches, more or less, being part of Section 25 of the Hutt District, and being also part of Lot 5 on Deposited Plan No. 664, and part of the land contained in certificate of title, Volume 201, folio 29 (Wellington Registry), as the same is more particularly shown coloured red on the said plan deposited for inspection at the offices of the Council as aforesaid.

2. All that piece of land situate as aforesaid containing 21·3 perches, more or less, being part of Section 25 of the Hutt District, and being also part of Lots 4 and 5 on Deposited Plan No. 664, and part of the land contained in certificate of title, Volume 204, folio 35 (Wellington Registry), as the same is more particularly shown coloured green on the said plan deposited at the offices of the Council as aforesaid.

3. All that piece of land situate as aforesaid containing 20·9 perches, more or less, being part of Section 25 of the Hutt District, and being also part of Lots 5 and 6 on Deposited Plan No. 664 (part Lot 7, D.P. 1517), and part of the land contained in certificate of title, Volume 130, folio 193 (Wellington Registry), as the same is more particularly shown coloured blue on the said plan deposited at the offices of the Council as aforesaid.

4. All that piece of land situate as aforesaid containing 16·2 perches, more or less, being part of Section 25 of the Hutt District, and being also part of Lot 6 on Deposited Plan No. 1517, and part of the land contained in certificate of title, Volume 294, folio 9 (Wellington Registry), as the same is more particularly shown coloured yellow on the said plan deposited at the offices of the Council as aforesaid.

5. All that piece of land situate as aforesaid containing 14·8 perches, more or less, being part of Section 25 of the Hutt District, and being also part of Lots 5 and 6 on Deposited Plan No. 1517, and part of the land contained in certificate of title, Volume 436, folio 230 (Wellington Registry), as the same is more particularly shown coloured purple on the said plan deposited at the offices of the Council as aforesaid.
