WAITEMATA COUNTY COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR A PLEASURE-GROUND AND SPORTS-GROUND

In the matter of the Public Works Act 1928 and amendments and the Counties Act 1920 and amendments.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Waitemata County Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, to execute a certain work—namely, the construction and formation of a public pleasure-ground and sports-ground passing through or adjoining the parcel of land referred to hereunder, and situated in the Kumeu Riding of the County of Waitemata—and for the purpose of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken; and notice is hereby further given that plans of the land so required to be taken are deposited in the public office of the Clerk of the said Council, situated at the Council Chambers, 1 Princes Street, Auckland, and are open for inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours.

All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said land must state their objection in writing and send the same, within forty (40) days from the date of the first publication of this notice, to the County Clerk at the Council Chambers.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of land required to be taken: 3 roods 8 perches. Being part Allotment 75, Parish of Paremoremo; coloured blue. (S.O. 36989.)

Situated in Block V, Waitemata Survey District in the County of Waitemata and in the Land District of North Auckland.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

In the matter of the Public Works Act 1928

NOTICE is hereby given that the Auckland City Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Act to execute a certain public work—namely, the provision of a municipal depot—and for the purpose of such public work the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken; and notice is hereby further given that a plan of the lands so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Town Clerk at the Town Hall, Auckland, and it is open for public inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours.

All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of such lands who have well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said lands must state their objections in writing and send the same, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Town Clerk, Town Hall, Auckland.

SCHEDULE

THOSE pieces of land containing: Firstly, 1 rood 3 perches, more or less, being Allotment 34 of Section 39, City of Auckland, being all the land comprised in certificate of title, Volume 598, folio 113, Auckland Registry; secondly, that piece of land, being Lot 4 on Deeds Plan No. City 36, and being portion of Allotments 13, 35, and 36 of Section 39 of the City of Auckland, and being all the land comprised in certificate of title, Volume 598, folio 117, Auckland Registry; and thirdly, 5·6 perches, more or less, being Lot 2 on the said Deeds Plan, and being part of Allotment 36 of Section 39 of the City of Auckland, and being the whole of the land comprised in certificate of title, Volume 598, folio 118, Auckland Registry.

Notice of Resolution Pursuant to Section 300 and Section 221 (1) (B) of the Companies Act 1933

AT an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders held on 17 April 1952 the following special resolution was passed:

“ That Park Terrace Flats, Limited, be wound up voluntarily; and that HAVELOCK RUSSELL FOUNTAIN, of Christchurch, Public Accountant, be and is hereby appointed liquidator for the purposes of such winding-up.”

TAKE notice that the partnership heretofore existing between CORRIE FREEMAN CRAWFORD, LESLIE WILLIAM CRAWFORD, and BERTIE KITCHENER CRAWFORD, all of Rotorua, Sawmillers, trading in partnership as Sawmillers at Horohoro, Rotorua, and elsewhere under the name or style of “Crawford Brothers” is hereby by mutual consent dissolved as from the 6th day of June 1951. The partnership business will continue to be carried on by the said LESLIE WILLIAM CRAWFORD and BERTIE KITCHENER CRAWFORD at Horohoro, Rotorua, and elsewhere and all accounts owing to or by the partnership must be paid or rendered to the said LESLIE WILLIAM CRAWFORD and BERTIE KITCHENER CRAWFORD.
