And whereas the authority conferred by the said Order in Council
has not been exercised :
And whereas the authority has lapsed in accordance with the
provisions of clause 6 of the said Order in Council, and it is not now
lawful or competent for the said local authority to raise the said
loan or any portion thereof except in accordance with the provisions
of a further Order in Council that may be issued pursuant to section
II of the Local Government Loans Board Act 1926 (hereinafter
called the said Act) :
And whereas the said local authority is now desirous of raising
the said loan, and it is expedient to authorize the said local authority
to raise the said loan on the conditions hereinafter set out :
Now, therefore, pursuant to section II of the said Act, as set
out in section 29 of the Finance Act 1932 (No. 2), His Excellency
the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent
of the Executive Council, hereby consents to the raising in New
Zealand by the said local authority of the said loan up to the amount
of two thousand pounds (£2,000) for the purpose for which the said
loan was authorized, and in giving such consent hereby determines
as follows :—
I. The term for which the said loan or any part thereof may
be raised shall not exceed seven (7) years.
2. The rate of interest that may be paid in respect of the said
loan or any part thereof shall be such as shall not produce to the
lender or lenders a rate or rates exceeding three pounds five shillings
(£3 5s.) per centum per annum.
3. The said loan or any part thereof, together with interest
thereon, shall be repaid by equal aggregate annual or half-yearly
instalments extending over the term as determined in I above.
4. The payment of such instalments shall be made in New Zealand
and no such instalment shall be paid out of loan-moneys.
5. The rate payable for brokerage, underwriting, and procurement fees in respect of the raising of the said loan or any part
thereof shall not in the aggregate exceed one-half per centum of
any amount raised.
6. No moneys shall be borrowed under this consent after the
expiration of two years from the date hereof.

Pursuant to section 5 of the Maori Purposes Act 1937, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby sets apart and reserves the Maori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto as a Maori reservation for the common use of the Maoris of the Ngatiwai, Ngatirehua, Whanawhero and Te Akitai hapus, and generally of the Whananaki district as a marae site.
SCHEDULE
ALL that area in the North Auckland Land District, situated in Block V of the Opuawhanga Survey District, containing 2 acres, more or less, and called or known as Wairahi A 2B 2B Block. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.A. 21/3/252, deposited in the Head Office of the Department of Maori Affairs, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Pursuant to section 27 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby amends the Memorandum of Acceptance registered in the Land Registry Office at New Plymouth under No. W. 6460, exempting the south-western side of portion of Grey Street in the Borough of Hawera from the provisions of section 128 of the Public Works Act 1928, subject to a condition as to the building-line, by cancelling the condition as to the building-line imposed by the said Memorandum of Acceptance, in so far as it affects Lots 46, 47, and 48, D.P. 6213, containing 1 rood 17'36 perches, situate in the Borough of Hawera, being now Lots 1, 2, 3, and 4, D.P. 6977, being part Section 15, Town of Hawera, and being all the land comprised and described in certificates of title, Volume 166, folio 186, and Volume 167, folio 49 (Taranaki Land Registry).

Pursuant to section 128 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby approves of the following resolution passed by the Wallace County Council on the 23rd day of August 1951, in so far as it affects the side and portion of road described in the Schedule hereto, viz. :- "That the Wallace County Council, being the local authority having control of the roads in the County of Wallace, declares that the provisions of section 128 of the Public Works Act 1928 shall not apply to the eastern side of the portion of road adjoining Sections 49, 52, and closed road, Block XIV, Jacobs River Hundred, being the land comprised in certificates of title, 34/112, 40/228, 71/65."
