WELLINGTON CITY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
In the matter of the Public Works Act 1928, and the Municipal Corporations Act 1933, and their respective amendments.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Wellington City Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-named Acts and all other Acts, powers, and authorities enabling it in that behalf, to execute a certain public work—namely, for a street at Northland and Harbour View Roads in the City of Wellington—and for the purpose of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken; and notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Town Clerk to the said Council in the Town Hall, Cuba Street, in the city, and is there open for inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours; and that all persons affected by the execution of the said public work or the taking of such land, should, if they have well-grounded objections to the taking of the said land, set forth the same in writing and send such writing within forty days from the first publication of this notice to the Wellington City Council addressed to the Town Clerk at his said office.
SCHEDULE
ALL that piece of land situate in the City of Wellington containing by admeasurement ten and seventeen one-hundredths perches (10·17 perches), more or less, being part of Section 29, Karori District, being part of Lot 151, Deposited Plan 1087, being the land more particularly shown on S.O. plan 22535 and thereon coloured orange.

NOTICE OF MEETING OF CREDITORS
NOTICE is hereby given that an extraordinary resolution for voluntary winding-up is proposed to be passed on the 17th day of April 1952; and that a meeting of the creditors of the said company will be held, pursuant to section 234 of the Companies Act 1933, at 411 Chancery Chambers, O’Connell Street, Auckland, on the 17th day of April 1952, at 12 noon, at which meeting a full statement of the position of the company’s affairs together with a list of the creditors and the estimated amount of their claims will be laid before the meeting, and at which meeting the creditors, in pursuance of section 235 of the said Act, may nominate a person to be the liquidator of the company, and, in pursuance of section 236 of the said Act, may appoint a committee of inspection.

(New Zealand), Limited, by entry in its minute-book pursuant to section 300 of the Companies Act 1933 that the company be wound up voluntarily and, the declaration of solvency having been previously made and delivered to the Registrar of Companies for registration, that DAVID HARVEY STEEN, of National Bank Chambers, Fort Street, Auckland, Public Accountant, be appointed liquidator for the purpose of such winding-up.

OMARAMA RABBIT BOARD
RESOLUTION passed by the Omarama Rabbit Board at a special meeting of the board held in the Omarama Public Hall on Wednesday, 9 April 1952, at 7.30 p.m.
On the motion of Mr. Walter P. Cameron, Runholder, seconded by Mr. Robert A. Aubrey, Runholder, it was resolved that—
“Bernard Noel Thomas, Chairman, sign the 1951 Housing Loan Debentures in place of Arthur Frederick Thomas Munro as was authorized in the resolution published in the N.Z. Gazette No. 16, Thursday, 21 February 1952.”
We, Bernard Noel Thomas, Chairman, and Alexander John Nicol, Secretary, respectively, at the special meeting of the Omarama Rabbit Board certify that the above resolution was duly passed at the said special meeting held in the Omarama Public Hall on Wednesday, 9 April 1952, at 7.30 p.m.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
In the matter of the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Act 1941, and of the Public Works Act 1928.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Nelson Catchment Board proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, to execute a certain public work—namely, the providing of land for soil-conservation and river control purposes—and for the purpose of such public work the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken: And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the lands so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Secretary to the said Board situate in Trafalgar Street, Nelson, and is open for inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours. All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of such land who may have any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said lands must state their objections in writing and send the same, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Secretary at the Board’s offices, Trafalgar Street, Nelson.

APPROXIMATE area of parcels of land required to be taken: 1 acre 1 rood 24·5 perches.
Being portion of Section Nos. 31 and 32, District of Takaka; coloured on plan orange.

TENDERS, closing at noon on Thursday, 15 May 1952, in sealed envelopes marked “Tender for Publication Right” addressed to the Director-General (Publications Division), General Post Office, Wellington C. 1, are invited for the exclusive right of compilation, publication, and distribution of numerical indexes of subscribers to any or all (or any selected group) of the telephone exchanges in New Zealand, covering a period of six years commencing on 23 July 1953.
A copy of the terms and conditions of tender, including a schedule of the telephone exchanges and the approximate number of subscribers at each, may be obtained at the office of the Director-General (Public Relations Division), General Post Office, Wellington, or at the office of any Chief Postmaster.
