WAIMEA COUNTY COUNCIL
LEVYING SPECIAL RATE
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act 1926, the Waimea County Council hereby resolves as follows:-
"That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of six thousand three hundred pounds (£6,300), authorized to be raised by the Waimea County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of providing the said Council's share of the cost of purchasing an area of eighteen (18) acres, or thereabouts, at Stoke, to be used as a recreation reserve, the said Waimea County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one-twelfth of a penny (${\frac {1}{12}}$d.) in the pound upon the capital value of all rateable property within the Stoke Riding of the said County; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, to be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of twenty-five (25) years, or until the said loan is fully paid off."
I certify the foregoing to be a true copy of a resolution passed at a meeting of the Waimea County Council held on the 14th day of March 1952.

BULLER ELECTRIC-POWER BOARD
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act 1926, the Buller Electric-power Board hereby resolves as follows :-
"That, for the purposes of providing the principal, interest, and other charges of the loan of £10,060, authorized to be raised by the Buller Electric-power Board under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of : (a) The meeting of the liability to the Mines Department taken over from the Westport Borough Council £5,000 ; and (b) the purchase or construction of buildings and purchase of miscellaneous plant and equipment £5,060, the said Buller Electric-power Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of one penny and decimal four one of a penny (1.41d.) in the pound upon the rateable value (of the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property of the Buller Electric-power District comprising the whole of the County of Buller and the Borough of Westport ; and that such special rate shall be an annual recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of June in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of twenty-four years, or until the loan is fully paid off. The said special rate is the same rate made and levied by the said Board on the 13th day of March 1951 and not additional thereto."

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP
NOTICE is hereby given that the partnership heretofore subsisting between PERCIVAL UNSWORTH, formerly of Timaru, but now of Nelson, Shipwright and Boat-builder, and DOUGLAS ROBB, of Timaru, Shipwright and Boat-builder, and carried on at Timaru under the name of "Robb and Unsworth" has this day been dissolved by mutual consent. All accounts owing to the partnership must be paid to Mr. D. Robb, Timaru.
