Declaring Certain Crown Land to be Subject to Part I of the Maori Land Amendment Act 1936

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section 5 of the Maori Purposes Act 1939, I, Bernard Cyril, Baron Freyberg, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby declare the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto to be subject to Part I of the Maori Land Amendment Act 1936.

Lands Reserved Under the Scenery Preservation Act 1908

A PROCLAMATION
WHEREAS the Scenery Preservation Board, constituted pursuant to the Scenery Preservation Act 1908 (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), has recommended that the lands described in the Schedule hereto should be permanently reserved for scenic purposes, and it is expedient to give effect to such recommendation :
Now, therefore, pursuant to the said Act, I, Bernard Cyril, Baron Freyberg, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the lands described in the Schedule hereto shall be scenic reserves under the said Act, and subject to the provisions thereof.

ALL that area situated in Block IV, Drury Survey District, containing by admeasurement 3 roods 6·5 perches, more or less, being Lot 1 as shown on a plan deposited in the Land Registry Office at Auckland under No. 37760, being part Allotment 15, Opaheke Parish.

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Bernard Cyril, Baron Freyberg, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a secondary school ; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 7th day of April 1952.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken : 19 acres and 23 perches.
Being part Lot 254, D.P. 2101, being part Heretaunga Block.
Situated in Block XV, Heretaunga Survey District (Hawke’s Bay R.D.). (S.O. 2563.)
In the Hawke’s Bay Land District ; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 135712, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon edged orange.
