PURSUANT to the authority conferred on the Bureau of Industry under Part III of the Industrial Efficiency Act 1936, the following decisions have been made in respect of applications for licences.

Pharmacy Industry
G. E. Attewell, Dey Street, Hamilton, has applied for a licence to operate a new pharmacy at Kihikihi.
Retail Sale and Distribution of Motor-spirit
D. M. Lines, Opunake, has applied for a licence to resell motor-spirit from six pumps to be installed on proposed service-station premises at corner Tasman and Havelock Streets, Opunake.
F. G. Campbell, Patea, has applied for a licence to resell motor-spirit from three pumps to be installed on proposed service-station and garage premises at eastern corner Bedford and Kent Streets, Patea.
Baker and Valder, Kaikohe, have applied for a licence to resell motor-spirit from one pump to be installed on garage premises at Broadway, Kaikohe.
Edwards and Martin, Auckland, have applied for a licence to resell motor-spirit from one pump to be installed on garage premises at 95 Federal Street, Auckland.
Applicants and other persons considering themselves to be materially affected by the decisions of the Bureau of Industry on these applications should, not later than 10 April 1952, submit any written evidence and representations they may desire to tender. All communications should be addressed to Secretary, Bureau of Industry C.P.O. Box 2492, Wellington.
