Alterations to Leading Beacons
Previous Notice No. 11 of 1952 hereby cancelled.
Position: Lat. 41° 8′·2 S., long. 173° 02′ E. (approx.).
Details: As from 1 April 1952 the main leading beacons will be moved to a new position in transit bearing 303° and 256 ft. apart, the front beacon carrying an inverted triangle having a vertical orange stripe is situated 088° 104 ft. from the east corner of the cool store, height 20 ft. The rear beacon will carry a white diamond having two vertical orange stripes, height 25 ft., both beacons exhibiting fixed red lights.

(1) Position: Fife Rock: Lat. 46° 48′ 15″ S., long. 168° 23′ 45″ E. (approx.). (On plan of Ruapuke Island on Chart No. 2533, south-west corner).
Position: (a) 250° distant 1·65 miles; (b) 230° distant 2·3 miles; (c) 112° distant 4·85 miles from the above rock in each case.
Details: (a) 4½ fathoms; (b) 4¾ fathoms; (c) 6 fathoms.
(2) Position: Shelter Point: Lat. 47° 06′ 00″ S., long. 168° 13′ 30″ E. (approx.) (On plan of Port Adventure on Chart No. 2542, south centre).
Position: 067° distant 2·75 miles from the above position.
Details: 4¼ fathoms.
(3) Position: Centre Island light: Lat. 46° 28′ 30″ S., long. 167° 51′ 30″ E. (approx.).
Position: (a) 086° distant 5·7 miles; (b) 114° distant 10·1 miles from the above position in each case.
Details: (a) 4½ fathoms; (b) 7 fathoms.

Revoking a Notice Declaring Land to be Subject to Part I of the Maori Land Amendment Act 1936 (Reureu Development Scheme)
PURSUANT to section 4 of the Maori Land Amendment Act 1936, the Board of Maori Affairs hereby revokes a notice made on the 19th day of October 1938, and published in New Zealand Gazette No. 77 of the 20th day of October 1938, at page 2261, whereby the land known as Reureu No. 1 Sub. 17B 2 Block, containing 65 acres 2 roods 6 perches, more or less, situate in Block I, Oroua Survey District, and being all the land in certificate of title, Volume 358, folio 109, was declared to be subject to Part I of the said Act.
Dated at Wellington, this 12th day of March 1952.
