Appointment of Member of Medical Practitioners Disciplinary Committee
PURSUANT to section 30 (4) of the Medical Practitioners Act 1950, the Minister of Health hereby revokes the appointment of Duncan Cook, M.D., Ch.B., M.R.C.P., D.P.H., of Wellington, as a member of the Medical Practitioners Disciplinary Committee, and hereby appoints the undermentioned registered medical practitioner to be a member of the Medical Practitioners Disciplinary Committee, namely—

THE following resolution passed by the Wairarapa South County Council on the 18th day of October 1951 is published in accordance with the provisions of the Noxious Weeds Act 1950.

“THAT the Wairarapa South County Council take over responsibility for the administration of the Noxious Weeds Act 1950 as from 1 April 1952.”

IN accordance with section 4 (2) of the Apple and Pear Marketing Amendment Act 1951, I hereby declare the standard cost of production of apples and pears for the 1951–52 season to be 11s. 1·49d. per case, non-wrapped.

The Servicemen’s Settlement Act 1950—Notice Declaring Land Taken for Settlement of Discharged Servicemen
WHEREAS an application has been made for the consent of the Land Valuation Court to a transaction which relates to the land described in the Schedule hereto, and to which Part II of the Servicemen’s Settlement Act 1950, applies :
And whereas the purchaser of the said land is neither a discharged serviceman nor a child or grandchild of the vendor :
And whereas the Land Valuation Committee to which the said application was referred, not being satisfied that the Crown had decided not to acquire or arrange for the acquisition of the said land, did on the 20th day of February 1952 adjourn the said application :
Now, therefore, the Minister of Lands, acting in pursuance of section 31 of the said Act, doth hereby declare that the said land is taken for the settlement of discharged servicemen, and hereby specifies the 1st day of July 1952 as the date on which the said land shall be deemed to be vested in Her Majesty the Queen.

SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
ALL that parcel of land situated in Blocks III and IV, Waihou Survey District, containing by admeasurement 106 acres 2 roods 17 perches, more or less, being Lots 19, 20, 21, and 22 on Deposited Plan 291, and Lot 28 on Deposited Plan 1192, being part of Wharepoha Omahu Block and being all of the land described in certificate of title, Volume 68, folio 239 (Auckland Registry).
Also all that parcel of land situated in Blocks III and IV, Waihou Survey District, containing by admeasurement 68 acres 2 roods 20 perches, more or less, being Lot 50 and part of the reserve marked “N” on Deposited Plan 3247, being part of Section 1, Block III, Waihou Survey District, and part of Wharepoha Omahu Block and being all of the land described in certificate of title, Volume 698, folio 317 (Auckland Registry.)
