A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Bernard Cyril, Baron Freyberg, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for road ; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 31st day of March 1952.

SCHEDULE

In the Canterbury Land District ; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked and coloured as above mentioned, and deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 22nd day of March 1952.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken : 1 rood 25·2 perches. Being part Lot 4, D.P. 8686, being part Reserve 2171.

In the Canterbury Land District ; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 135848, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.

Vesting a Reserve in the Havelock Harbour Board

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 17th day of March 1952

Present:

THE RIGHT HON. S. G. HOLLAND PRESIDING IN COUNCIL

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto has been duly set apart as a reserve for Harbour Board purposes :

And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor-General, it is expedient to vest the said reserve in the Havelock Harbour Board :

Now, therefore, pursuant to section 9 of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby declares that, from and after the day of the date hereof, the reserve described in the Schedule hereto shall become vested in the Havelock Harbour Board, in trust, for a reserve for Harbour Board purposes.

PURSUANT to subsection (1) (b) of section 7 of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby revokes the reservation for public purposes over the land described in the Schedule hereto ; and hereby declares that the said land, being vested in the Crown, is Crown land available for disposal under the Land Act 1948.
