URSUANT to section 34 of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby orders and declares that the reserve for recreation in the Taranaki Land District described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same is hereby brought under the operation of and declared to be subject to the provisions of Part II of the said Act, and such reserve shall hereafter be known as the Mangamahoe Domain, and be managed, administered, and dealt with as a public domain.

SCHEDULE
TARANAKI LAND DISTRICT
All that area containing by admeasurement 5 acres, more or less, being all the land as shown on a plan deposited in the Land Registry Office at New Plymouth under No. 258, being part Section 25, Hua and Waiwakaiho Hundred, situated in Block III, Egmont Survey District. Subject to the reservations and conditions imposed by section 59 of the Land Act 1948.

Directing Application of Moneys Received in Respect of the Former Hutt Valley Domain, Wellington Land District, for the Purposes of the Pinehaven Domain

PURSUANT to section 61 of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby directs that the moneys received in respect of the former Hutt Valley Domain described in the First Schedule hereto, and at the date hereof lying to the credit of the said Domain, shall be applied in managing, administering, and improving the Pinehaven Domain, described in the Second Schedule hereto.
FIRST SCHEDULE
WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT—FORMER HUTT VALLEY DOMAIN
All those areas containing by admeasurement 1 acre 2 roods 0·02 perch, more or less, being Lots 24 and 34 as shown on a plan deposited in the Land Registry Office at Wellington under No. 9893, and being parts of Section 34, Hutt Registration District, Block XIV, Belmont Survey District, and being part of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 164, folio 166 (Wellington Registry).
Also all that area containing by admeasurement 1 acre 1 rood, more or less, being Lot 12 as shown on a plan deposited in the Land Registry Office at Wellington under No. 6516, and being part of Section 52, Hutt Registration District, Block IX, Belmont Survey District, and being part of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 306, folio 190 (Wellington Registry).
SECOND SCHEDULE
WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT—PINEHAVEN DOMAIN
All those areas containing by admeasurement a total of 2 acres 1 rood 4·4 perches, more or less, being Lots 74, 75, and 149 as shown on a plan deposited in the Land Registry Office at Wellington under No. 9185, and being parts of Sections 193 and 195A, Hutt District, situated in Block IV, Belmont Survey District.

Appointing a Member of the Otago Catchment Board
FREYBERG, Governor-General
WHEREAS Edwin Carradine Stanton, Esquire, a duly elected member of the Otago Catchment Board, has resigned from membership of such Board:
And whereas the local authorities of the several constituent districts included in the combined district of the Otago Catchment Board have failed for a period of two months to appoint some qualified person to fill the extraordinary vacancy in the office of a representative of a combined district on such Board caused by such resignation:
Now, therefore, in pursuance of the powers vested in me by section 56 of the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Act 1941, I, Bernard Cyril, Baron Freyberg, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby appoint Robert Abraham Wilkie, Esquire, of Dunedin, Merchant, to be a representative of a combined district on the Otago Catchment Board in place of the said Edwin Carradine Stanton, the said Robert Abraham Wilkie to hold office only for the unexpired portion of the term of office of the said Edwin Carradine Stanton.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this 4th day of March 1952.
