Declaring Trailer Units Forming Part of a Multi-axled Motor-
vehicle to be Trailers
PURSUANT to subsection (1) of section 2 of the Transport
Act 1949, the Minister of Transport doth hereby determine
that the two vehicles specified in the Schedule hereto, each forming
part of a multi-axled vehicle as defined by section 2 of the said Act,
shall be deemed to be trailers.
SCHEDULE
Two trailer units, Chassis Nos. T. 120 and T. 298, owned by the
Post and Telegraph Department, Wellington.
Dated at Wellington, this 31st day of January 1952.

Notice to Persons Affected by Applications for Licences Under Part III
of the Industrial Efficiency Act 1936
Retail Sale and Distribution of Motor-spirit
W. and B. A. Stephenson, Pukeatua, have applied for a licence
to resell motor-spirit from one pump to be installed on garage
premises at Pukeatua.
D. G. Kelly, Pembroke Road (West), Stratford, has applied
for a licence to resell motor-spirit from two pumps to be installed
on garage premises at Stratford.
Manawatu Motors, Ltd., George Street, Palmerston North, have
applied for a licence to resell motor-spirit from one pump already
installed on garage premises at Palmerston North.
M. G. Cuthbert, Rangitaiki, has applied for a licence to resell
motor-spirit from one pump to be installed at proposed service-
station premises at Rangitaiki.
H. A. and M. Hudspith, 563 Richardson Road, Mount Roskill,
have applied for a licence to resell motor-spirit from one pump
to be installed on proposed garage premises at Mount Roskill.
J. M. Van der Leeden, corner Whakatane-Rotorua Highway
and Lee Road, Hannah's Bay, via Rotorua, has applied for a licence
to resell motor-spirit from two pumps to be installed on proposed
service-station and garage premises at Hannah's Bay, via Rotorua.
N. McAlister, Orepuki, has applied for permission to change
retail selling point of his petrol pump from present site to new
position at the corner of Dover Street and Main Road, Orepuki.
Applicants and other persons considering themselves to be
materially affected by the decisions of the Bureau of Industry on
these applications should, not later than 6 March 1952, submit
any written evidence and representations they may desire to tender.
