Authorizing Erection of a Public Hall on Dobson Domain, Westland Land District

FREYBERG, Governor-General

PURSUANT to subsection (l) (d) of section 52 of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act 1928, l, Bernard Cyril, Baron Freyberg, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby authorize the Dobson Domain Board to erect a public hall on that portion of the Dobson Domain under its control described in the Schedule hereto.

WESTLAND LAND DISTRICT-PORTION OF DOBSON DOMAIN RESERVE 1924, Town of Dobson, situated in Block X, Arnold Survey District: Area, l rood 22.2 perches, more or less. (S.O. plan 4541.)

Lands Reserved in the Hawke's Bay, Wellington, Canterbury, and Otago Land Districts

WHEREAS by section 167 of the Land Act 1948 it is enacted that the Governor-General may from time to time set apart as a reserve, notwithstanding that the same may be then held under pastoral lease or pastoral occupation licence, any Crown land for any purpose, which, in his opinion, is desirable in the public interest, and notice thereof shall be published in the New Zealand Gazette : Now, therefore, pursuant to section 167 of the said Act, I, Bernard Cyril, Baron Freyberg, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby reserve, subject to the reservations and conditions imposed by section 59 of the Land Act 1948, the lands in the Hawke's Bay, Wellington, Canterbury, and Otago Land Districts described in the Schedule hereunder written, for the purposes specified at the end of the respective descriptions of the lands so intended to be reserved.
