Pursuant to the Valuation of Land Act 1951, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby directs that the district valuation rolls for the districts enumerated in the Schedule hereto shall be revised by the Valuer-General as at the 31st day of January 1952.

Pursuant to the discretion conferred upon him by subsection (2) of section 9 of the Valuation of Land Act 1951, the Valuer-General intends to exercise the authority conferred by the foregoing Order in Council only so far as it relates to the properties on the rolls that lie within the Maori Hill, Roslyn, and North-east Valley portions and the Inner area of Dunedin City.

Withdrawing Land from the Operation of the Kauri-gum Industry Act 1908

Whereas by section 178 of the Land Act 1948 it is enacted that the Governor-General may, by Order in Council, on the recommendation of the Land Settlement Board, declare that any land comprised in a kauri-gum reserve shall, from a date to be specified in the Order, cease to be subject to the Kauri-gum Industry Act 1908, and on and after the date so specified, the land to which the Order relates shall become Crown land, subject to the provisions of the Land Act 1948:
And whereas the Land Settlement Board has recommended that part of the Rotoroa Kauri-gum Reserve as described in the Schedule hereto, be excepted from the operation of the Kauri-gum Industry Act 1908, and it is expedient to give effect to such recommendation:
Now, therefore, pursuant to section 178 of the Land Act 1948, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby orders and declares that part of the Rotoroa Kauri-gum Reserve as described in the Schedule hereto, shall, from the 1st day of February 1952, cease to be subject to the Kauri-gum Industry Act 1908.

Vesting a Reserve in the Taradale Town Board

Whereas the land described in the Schedule hereto has been duly set apart as a reserve for public purposes:
And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor-General, it is expedient to vest the said reserve in the Taradale Town Board:
Now, therefore, pursuant to section 9 of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby declares that, from and after the day of the date hereof, the reserve described in the Schedule hereto shall become vested in the Taradale Town Board, in trust, for a reserve for public purposes.

All that area containing by admeasurement 1 rood 5.1 perches, more or less, being Lot 5 as shown on a plan deposited in the Land Registry Office at Napier under No. 6637, being part Suburban Section 57, Meeanee, and being part of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 42, folio 22 (Hawke's Bay Registry), subject to the reservations imposed by section 8 of the Coal Mines Amendment Act 1950.

Warrant Appointing an Air Services Licensing Appeal Authority Under the Air Services Licensing Act 1951

In pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred on me by section 33 of the Air Services Licensing Act 1951, I, Bernard Cyril, Baron Freyberg, the Governor-General of New Zealand, do hereby appoint
Kendrick Gee Archer, of Wellington, a Judge of the Land Valuation Court,
to be an Air Services Licensing Appeal Authority, to exercise the powers and carry out the duties conferred and imposed upon the said Appeal Authority by the said Act.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this 2nd day of February 1952.

Warrant Appointing the Air Services Licensing Authority Under the Air Services Licensing Act 1951

In pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred on me by section 3 of the Air Services Licensing Act 1951, I, Bernard Cyril, Baron Freyberg, the Governor-General of New Zealand, do hereby appoint
Edward Denis Blundell, O.B.E., of Wellington, Solicitor,
Arthur de Terrotte Nevill, K.B.E., C.B., of Wellington, retired Chief of the Air Staff,
Alton James Nimmo, M.C., of Wellington, Company Director,
to be members of the Air Services Licensing Authority for a period of three years from the date of this warrant and to exercise the powers and carry out the duties conferred and imposed upon the Air Services Licensing Authority by the said Act.
And I do further appoint you the said Edward Denis Blundell in pursuance of section 5 of the said Act to be Chairman of the said Air Services Licensing Authority.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this 2nd day of February 1952.
