Gazette No. 58, 2 October 1947, page 1414) on the left bank of the Otipua Creek (Saltwater Creek) at the southernmost corner of Lot 104, D.P. 3490; thence generally in a north-easterly, easterly, and southerly direction along the boundary of the City of Timaru to the left bank of the Otipua Creek aforesaid; thence north-westerly along the left bank of the said Otipua Creek to the southernmost corner of Lot 104, D.P. 3490 aforesaid, the point of commencement.

Authorizing the Laying-off of a Street off Erin Street, in the Borough of Hawera, Subject to a Condition as to the Building-line

At the Government House at Wellington, this 19th day of December 1951

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 31 of the Municipal Corporations Amendment Act 1948 and section 125 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorizes the Hawera Borough Council to permit the laying-off of the proposed street described in the Schedule hereto of a width for part of its length of less that 66 ft., but not less than 50 ft., subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on Lots 1 to 9 inclusive of a subdivision of the land fronting the said street (as shown on the plan marked P.W.D. 135482 referred to in the Schedule hereto) within a distance of 48 ft. from the centre-line of the said street, or on Lot 10 of the said subdivision within a distance of 33 ft. from the centre-line of the said street.
SCHEDULE
THAT proposed street in the Taranaki Land District, Borough of Hawera, containing by admeasurement 1 rood 32·1 perches, more or less, being part Lot 3, D.P. 5486 and being part Section 23, Town of Hawera. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 135482, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Authorizing the Laying-off of Junction Street in the Town District of Takaka, Subject to a Condition as to the Building-line

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 31 of the Municipal Corporations Amendment Act, 1948, and section 125 of the Public Works Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby authorize the Takaka Town Board to permit the laying-off of the proposed street described in the Schedule hereto at a width for the whole of its length of less than 66 ft., but not less than 50 ft., subject to a condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land shown edged green on the plan referred to in the Schedule hereto, within a distance of 48 ft. from the centre-line of the said street.
SCHEDULE
THAT proposed street in the Nelson Land District, Town District of Takaka, to be known as Junction Street, containing by admeasurement 2 roods 7·3 perches, more or less, being part Sections 18 and 21, District of Takaka, Block X, Waitapu Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 134953, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 31 of the Municipal Corporations Amendment Act 1948 and section 125 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorizes the Palmerston North City Council to permit the laying-off of the proposed street described in the Schedule hereto at a width for the whole of its length of less than 66 ft., but not less than 50 ft., subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on Lot 17, D.P. 14466, and on Lots 25 to 30 inclusive and Lot 33 of a subdivision of the land fronting the said street (as shown on the plan marked P.W.D. 136030 referred to in the Schedule hereto) within a distance of 48 ft. from the centre line of the said street.

Authorizing the Acquisition of Land Notwithstanding the Provisions as to Limitation of Area

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 246 of the Maori Land Act 1931, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorizes the purchase by Kaipara Forests, Limited, of Auckland, of all the land described in the Schedule hereto, notwithstanding the provisions of Part XII of the said Act.
SCHEDULE
FIRST, all that piece of land containing 9 acres 34·6 perches, more or less, being Lot 70 on a plan deposited in the Land Registry Office at Auckland as No. 22850, and being portion of Nukuroa No. 1c Block situated in Block VII of the Otamatea Survey District. Secondly, all that parcel of land containing 10 acres, more or less, being Lots 49 and 50 on a plan deposited in the Land Registry Office at Auckland as No. 21616, and being portion of Nukuroa No. 1A and No. 1B No. 1 Blocks situated in Block XII of the Otamatea Survey District. Recreation Reserves in Gisborne Land District Brought Under Part II of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act 1928

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 34 of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby orders and declares that the reserves for recreation in the Gisborne Land District described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same are hereby brought under the operation of and declared to be subject to the provisions of Part II of the said Act, and such reserves shall hereafter form part of the Uawa Domain, and be managed, administered, and dealt with as a public domain by the Uawa Domain Board.
