Land Subject to the Housing Act 1919 Declared Crown Land Available for Reservation Under the Land Act 1948

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to subsection (1) of section 8 of the Housing Amendment Act 1940, I, Bernard Cyril, Baron Freyberg, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare the land described in the Schedule hereto, being land subject to the Housing Act 1919, to be Crown land available for reservation under the Land Act 1948.

SCHEDULE

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL that area situated in Block VI, Rangitoto Survey District, containing by admeasurement 1 rood 8·48 perches, more or less, being Lot 7 as shown on a plan deposited in the Land Registry Office at Auckland under No. 4872, being part of Allotment 81, Parish of Takapuna, and being all the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 185, folio 174 (Auckland Registry).

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 14th day of December 1951.

Crown Land Set Apart as Permanent State Forest Land

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 18 of the Forests Act 1949, I, Bernard Cyril, Baron Freyberg, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby set apart the Crown Land described in the Schedule hereto as permanent State forest land.

SCHEDULE

CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT—CANTERBURY CONSERVANCY

ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District, Amuri County, containing 6,850 acres, more or less, being part of Run No. 17 (St. Helens), situated in Blocks XIII and XIV, Percival Survey District, and Blocks I and II, Lyndon Survey District, and bounded generally as follows: Towards the west generally by Run No. 20; towards the north generally by the watershed between the Clarence and the Waiau Rivers; towards the east generally by the western side of the Jollie’s Pass Road, Reserve 4292, and again by Jollie’s Pass Road; towards the south generally by the Jollie’s Pass Road, the crossing of that road by Reserve 4209, again by the crossing of Jollie’s Pass Road, and by Reserve 4241; towards the north-west by the south-eastern side of a stock road; towards the south generally by the crossing of the last-mentioned road, Reserves 4290 and 4209, part Section 45 and Sections 30 and 31, Hanmer Plains Reserve, the crossing of a public road, thence by Reserve 3657 and part of Reserve 3927 and by Section 24B, Hanmer Town Area; towards the north-west, south, south-east, and south by Reserve 3661; again towards the south by Section 22, Hanmer Town Area; towards the north-west by Reserve 3801 and Section 83, Square 82, Amuri; towards the south-west by the last-mentioned section and by the crossing of the Chatterton Stream; towards the south-east by the right bank of the aforesaid stream; and towards the south generally by the left bank of the River Rodgerson and a public road. Save and excepting all public roads. As the same is more particularly delineated on plan No. 129/52, deposited in the Head Office of the New Zealand Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon borderedred.

Crown Land Set Apart for the Purposes of the Maori Housing Act 1935

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 2 of the Maori Housing Amendment Act 1938, I, Bernard Cyril, Baron Freyberg, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the areas of Crown land described in the Schedule hereto shall be, and the same are hereby set apart, for the purposes of the Maori Housing Act, 1935.

SCHEDULE

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT

FIRST, all that area in the Borough of Masterton, situated in Block IV, Tiffin Survey District, containing by admeasurement 1 rood 2 perches, more or less, being Lot 5, D.P. 15369, and being part Section 1, Manaia Block Registration District.

Secondly, all that area in the Borough of Greytown, situated in Block XIII, Tiffin Survey District, containing by admeasurement 32·32 perches, more or less, being Lot 3, D.P. 14965, and being part Section 8, Greytown Small Farm Settlement.

Thirdly, all that area in the Borough of Levin, situated in Block I, Waiopehu Survey District, containing by admeasurement 1 rood 2·25 perches, more or less, being Lot 16, D.P. 15355, and being part Section 43, Levin Village Settlement.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 18th day of December 1951.
