Appointment of Waimamaku Domain Board Revoked

ORDER IN COUNCIL

At the Government House at Wellington, this 12th day of December 1951

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

WHEREAS by an Order in Council dated the 31st day of August 1943, and published in the New Zealand Gazette on the 2nd day of September of that year, a Domain Board was appointed to have control of the Waimamaku Domain therein described:

And whereas it is expedient to revoke the said Order in Council:

Now, therefore, pursuant to subsection (2) of section 44 of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby revokes the aforesaid Order in Council dated the 31st day of August 1943.

Appointment of the Onepu Domain Board Revoked

WHEREAS by an Order in Council dated the 22nd day of September 1948 and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the 23rd day of that month, a Domain Board was appointed to have control of the Onepu Domain therein described:

And whereas it is expedient that the said Order in Council should be revoked:

Now, therefore, pursuant to subsection (2) of section 44 of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby revokes the Order in Council hereinbefore referred to.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby revokes an Order in Council dated the 22nd day of October 1947, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the 30th day of that month, appointing a Domain Board to control the Waimarama Domain, and doth hereby appoint

The member of the Hawke’s Bay County Council representing the Waimarama Riding, ex officio,

Terry Rhys Davies,
Wiremu Tutere Gillies,
Colin Macdonald Gilray,
Nancye Joan Gilray,
James Arnold Jensen,
John Joseph Morgan,
James Rainey, and
Ronald Shakespeare

to be the Waimarama Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto; and hereby appoints Saturday, the 22nd day of December 1951, at 2.30 o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the residence of Mr. J. Reaney, Waimarama, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.


SCHEDULE

HAWKE’S BAY LAND DISTRICT—WAIMARAMA DOMAIN

ALL that area containing by admeasurement 2 acres 2 roods 27 perches, more or less, being Lot 50 as shown on a plan deposited in the Land Registry Office at Napier under No. 3427, being also part Waimarama 3A No. 5, Section 2B, and being all the land comprised and described in certificate of title, H.B. Volume 78, folio 7 (Hawke’s Bay Registry).

Also all that area containing by admeasurement 3 acres and 16 perches, more or less, being Lot 2 as shown on a plan deposited in the Land Registry Office at Napier under No. 3156, being also part Waimarama 3A No. 5, Section 2B, and being all the land comprised and described in certificate of title, H.B. Volume 78, folio 8 Hawke’s Bay Registry).

PURSUANT to section 44 of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby appoints

Ivan Faigan,
Leopold Faigan,
William Gordon Macdonald, and
Alexander William Stuart

to be the Miller’s Flat Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto; and hereby appoints Wednesday, the 13th day of February 1952, at 8 o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the Miller’s Flat Hall, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

to be the Rakaunui Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto; and hereby appoints Friday, the 21st day of December 1951, at 8 o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the Rakaunui Hall as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

Revoking the Reservation Over Portion of the Little River Domain, Canterbury Land District

WHEREAS a notice of intention to issue an Order in Council declaring that the portion of the Little River Domain, described in the Schedule hereto, shall cease to be subject to Part II of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act 1928, and shall be deemed to be Crown land available for disposal by way of sale for cash under the Land Act 1948 was published in the New Zealand Gazette of the 19th day of July 1951:

And whereas such notice of intention was duly laid before the House of Representatives in accordance with the provisions of subsection (2) of section 7 of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act 1928:

And whereas the House of Representatives, by a resolution dated the 31st day of October 1951, approved the proposed revocation as aforesaid:
