Authorizing the Laying-off of a Street off Ridge Road, in the Borough of Mount Roskill, Subject to Conditions as to the Building-line

Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 31 of the Municipal Corporations Amendment Act 1948 and section 125 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorizes the Mount Roskill Borough Council to permit the laying-off of the proposed street described in the Schedule hereto at a width for part of its length of less than 66 ft., but not less than 40 ft, subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on Lots 8 to 15 inclusive, and Lots 20 to 26 inclusive of a subdivision of the land fronting the said street (as shown on the plan marked P.W.D. 132542, referred to in the said Schedule) within a distance of 58 ft. from the centre-line of the said street, or on Lot 4 of the said subdivision within a distance of 33 ft. from the centre-line of the said street, or on Lot 5 of the said subdivision within a distance of 39 ft. from the centre-line of the said street.
SCHEDULE
THAT proposed street in the North Auckland Land District, Borough of Mount Roskill, containing by admeasurement 2 roods 15·2 perches, more or less, being part Lot 8, D.P. 37423, being part Allotment 21, Section 13, Suburbs of Auckland. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 132542, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 31 of the Municipal Corporations Amendment Act 1948 and section 125 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorizes the Manurewa Borough Council to permit the laying-off of the proposed street described in the Schedule hereto at a width for part of its length of less than 66 ft., but not less than 50 ft., subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land shown edged green on the plan marked P.W.D. 136001, referred to in the said Schedule, within a distance of 48 ft. from the centre-line of the said street.
SCHEDULE
THAT proposed street in the North Auckland Land District, Borough of Manurewa, containing by admeasurement 1 rood 14·6 perches, more or less, being part Lot 32, D.P. 37316, being part Allotment 7, Parish of Papakura. Authorizing the Purchase by the Hutt Valley Electric-power Board of Certain Electric Works from the Wellington Meat Export Company, Limited

PURSUANT to section 76 of the Electric-power Boards Act 1925, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorizes the purchase by the Hutt Valley Electric-power Board from the Wellington Meat Export Company, Limited, of the electric works described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
THE 11,000-volt single-circuit transmission-line leading from the State Hydro-electric Department’s substation at Khandallah to the works of the Wellington Meat Export Company, Limited, at Ngauranga.

Authorizing the Hutt Valley Electric-power Board to Erect and Use Certain Electric Lines in the City of Wellington

Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928 and the Electric-power Boards Act 1925, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorizes the Hutt Valley Electric-power Board (hereinafter with its successors and assigns referred to as the licensee), subject to the conditions hereinafter set forth, to lay, construct, put up, place, and use the electric lines described in the Schedule hereto; and, further, for the purposes of section 76 of the Electric-power Boards Act 1925, subject to the said conditions, hereby authorizes the licensee to construct and maintain the said electric works.
CONDITIONS
- IMPLIED CONDITIONS
THE conditions directed to be implied in all licences by the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935 and the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1935 shall be incorporated in and shall form part of this licence, except in so far as the same may be inconsistent with the provisions hereof.
- LICENCE SUBJECT TO REGULATIONS
The licence hereby conferred is subject to compliance by the licensee with the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935, the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1935, the Radio Interference Regulations 1934, and with all regulations hereafter made in amendment thereof or in substitution therefor respectively.
- SYSTEM OF SUPPLY
The system of supply shall be as described in paragraph (f) of clause 21-01 of the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935. The transmission voltage shall be 11,000 volts between phases.
- DURATION OF LICENCE
The licence shall, unless sooner lawfully determined, continue in force until the 31st day of March 1971.
- PURPOSE OF LINES
The lines hereby authorized shall not be used by the licensee for the purpose of supply to any consumer outside the Hutt Valley Electric-power District.
SCHEDULE
UNDERGROUND cables and overhead lines for the transmission of electrical energy by the system of supply hereinbefore described within the City of Wellington and leading from the State Hydro-electric Department’s substation at Khandallah in a north-easterly direction along the Transmission Line Reserve to the boundary of the Hutt Valley Electric-power District as at present constituted; the said lines being shown by means of a green line on the plan marked S.H.D. 153, deposited in the office of the Minister in Charge of the State Hydro-electric Department.

Setting Apart Maori Land as a Maori Reservation

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 5 of the Maori Purposes Act 1937, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby sets apart and reserves the Maori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto as a Maori reservation for the common use of the Ngatitama hapu of the Ngati Tuwharetoa Tribe as a papakainga.
SCHEDULE
ALL that land in the Wellington Land District containing 15 acres, more or less, being part of the land called or known as Rangipo North 2c No. 3 Block, situated in Block VI of the Pihanga Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan numbered M.A. 21/3/246, deposited in the Head Office of the Department of Maori Affairs at Wellington, and thereon edged red.
