The note to the decision on “Chain saw machines, cross cut, for felling timber and cutting up logs, including spare saw chains therefor” reading “Transport carriages, if imported with the machines, are to be apportioned between the machines and the oil engines or motors in proportion to their respective values”.
351 (11) .. Gloves, asbestos, for foundry use.
351 (11) .. Helmets, sand blast, for protecting operators when sand blasting glass or metal.
351 (11) .. The note to the decision on “Ovens, electric annealing” reading “Automatic switches therefor are to be classed separately under Tariff item 338 (2)”.
351 (11) .. The note to the decision on “Sand blast cleaning apparatus for cleaning metal castings by means of a stream of abrasive material” reading “Electric motors, exhaust fans, hose, dust separators, and breeches pipes therefor, are to be classed under their appropriate Tariff items”.

352 Bootmaking .. The note to the decision on “Drying apparatus for boots, including galvanised steel chambers, drying racks, electric heater and thermostat” reading “Electric fans or blowers imported therewith are to be classed separately under Tariff item 351 (4)”.
352 Bootmaking .. The note to the decision on “Heel scouring machines” reading “The fans therefor are to be classed separately under Tariff item 351 (4) and spare brushes under Tariff item 419 (2)”.
352 .. Brushes, circular, consisting of a boss with wires, hair, fibre, or other material fixed thereto, for mounting on power driven spindles.
352 Burners .. The note to the decision on “Burners, liquid fuel, for boilers, furnaces, and ovens, including fuel pumps, controlling valves, tuyeres, and strainers therefor, when imported therewith” reading “The fans and housings are to be classed separately under Tariff item 351 (4)”.
352 .. Controllers, automatic, recording and non-recording, including the valves for use therewith, specially designed to maintain pressure, temperature, humidity, liquid level, by the operation of valves actuated either electrically or pneumatically.
352 Earthmoving .. Ditching and trenching machines, self-propelled.
352 Engines .. *Oil engines declared for use only as power units of agricultural machines.
352 Filters .. Pressure filters, unsuited for domestic use, in which pulp or porous earthenware is the filtering medium, including filter cloths therefor.
352 Flock making .. The note to the decision on “Rag drying machines” reading “Charging trucks are to be classed separately under Tariff item 356 (1) (c)”.
352 Fruit .. Knives and spoons, fruit peeling, coring, and pitting, specially suited for use in fruit canning factories.
352 Garage appliances The note to the decision on “Pumps, grease dispensing, electrically or pneumatically operated for insertion into drums or other containers” reading “The cabinets or housings for the drums or containers are to be classed separately under Tariff item 327, and the trucks, on which the drums are mounted, under Tariff item 356 (1) (c)”.
352 Gramophones .. The note to the decision on “Gramophones, recording, comprising motor, tracker, recording head, turntable, electro-magnetic pickup, and volume indicator” reading “The amplifier, microphone, and loudspeaker are to be classed separately under Tariff item 338 (5)”.
352 Gramophones .. Voice recording machines which use metal wire or metal coated paper tape as a recording medium. The undermentioned components and accessories are to be classed separately as follows:
Amplifiers, oscillators and extension speakers, T.I. 338 (5).
Electric motors, T.I. 338 (1) (a).
Power supply storage units, T.I. 338 (1) (c).
Recording tape, T.I. 300 (2) (d).
Recording wire, T.I. 357 (10) (a).
Storage cabinets for wire spools T.I. 327 or 407 (1).
Tape splicers, T.I. 352 (b).
352 Leatherworking .. The note to the decision on “Brushing machines for finishing leather” reading “Spare or replacement brushes are to be classed under Tariff item 419 (2)”.
352 .. The note to the decision on “Pasteurisers specially suited for pasteurising beer, fruit juices, and similar products after bottling” reading “Bottle cars or trucks for use therewith are to be classed separately under Tariff item 356 (1) (c)”.
352 Pipes .. Johnson couplings of all sizes when imported detached from the pipes.
352 Scaffolding .. Fittings for steel tubular scaffolding, including quickgrip couplers, putlog couplers, combined joint pins and couplers, swivel couplers, reveal screws, tubular putlogs, and steel struts, props, or shores.
352 Valves .. Automatically, mechanically, or thermostatically operated, other than water mixing valves.
352 Valves .. Pressure operated, Drayton, for pneumatic or hydraulic operation.
352 Valves .. Water mixing, or steam and water mixing, thermostatically or automatically operated, for controlling the temperature of rooms, &c., independently of external variations.
352 Water purifying .. The note to the decision on “Strainers, rotary, the Glenfield” reading “The equilibrium ball valve is to be classed separately under Tariff item 356 (1) (c)”.
352 Winches .. Sheaves, grooved metal, other than galvanised iron, suitable for use with pulley blocks, having an extreme diameter of 3 inches or more but less than 7 inches.
352 Woollen mill .. The note to the decision on “Steamers, vacuum, for conditioning yarn” reading “Charging trucks are to be classed separately under Tariff item 353 (8) (c)”.
353 (1) .. The note to the decision on “Heating units, gas whether or not assembled on importation including combustor bricks, for heating buildings” reading “Fans therefor are to be classed separately under Tariff item 351 (4)”.
353 (4) .. The note to the decision on “Air heaters even if combined with humidifiers and cleaners, suited for use in theatres, offices, and residences” reading “Fans are to be classed separately under Tariff item 351 (4)”.
353 (8) (b) .. The note to the decision on “Cranes, hand travel, double girder, including the geared hoist blocks with crab or carriage therefor” reading “The electric motor, controller, insulated cable, and collector, if imported therewith, are to be classed separately under their appropriate Tariff items”.
353 (8) (c) .. The note to the decision on “Air cleaning units, air conditioners, and air filters, for use in buildings” reading “Fans therefor are to be classed separately under Tariff item 351 (4)”.
353 (8) (c) .. Cars, charging and slag, for smelting furnaces.
353 (8) (c) Earthmoving .. Loader shovels (not including excavator shovels) (a) of a rated capacity not exceeding 1½ cubic yards, for attachment to crawler type tractors, or (b) of a rated capacity not exceeding 1 cubic yard, for attachment to wheeled tractors.
353 (8) (c) .. Hydraclamp, being a hydraulically controlled universal mounting for machines, radios, typewriters, &c., undergoing examination or repair, and which may be locked in any desired position.
353 (8) (c) .. Pans, copper, steam jacketed.
353 (8) (c) .. Sealing machines for sealing cartons or parcels and which supply predetermined lengths of gummed paper tape moistened ready for use.
353 (8) (c) .. Separators, specific gravity, for separating the finer particles of ground material from the coarser by means of a current of air.
