PACIFIC BUILDING, LIMITED
IN VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION
In the matter of the Companies Act 1933 and in the matter of PACIFIC BUILDING, LIMITED.
NOTICE is hereby given that the following special resolution was passed by the above-named company on 22 November 1951:—
“Resolved, that the company be wound up voluntarily and that JOCK SAWYERS PORTEOUS, of Wellington, Accountant, be and is hereby appointed liquidator of the company.”
All persons or companies having claims against the company are requested to send full particulars to the undersigned before 10 December 1951, otherwise they may be excluded from participation in any distribution of assets.

MANAWATU CATCHMENT BOARD
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Workers’ Dwellings Loan 1951, of £5,000
NOTICE is hereby given that at its meeting held at Palmerston North on the 20th day of November 1951 the Manawatu Catchment Board duly passed the following resolution :—
“That, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act 1926 and the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Act 1941, and all other powers it enabling, and for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £5,000 authorized to be raised by the Manawatu Catchment Board under the Local Bodies’ Loans Act 1926 for the purpose of erecting two workers’ dwellings, the Manawatu Catchment Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of 0·0016 of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value on the basis of capital value of all rateable property of the Manawatu Catchment District, and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly in one sum on the 1st day of July in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty-five years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

In the matter of the Companies Act 1933 and in the matter of WHANGAROA TIMBER COMPANY, LIMITED (In Voluntary Liquidation).
PURSUANT to section 222 of the Companies Act 1933, notice is hereby given that on the 9th day of November 1951 Whangaroa Timber Company Limited passed the following special resolutions :—
“(1) That the company be wound up voluntarily.
“(2) That JOHN GRIERSON, F.P.A. (N.Z.), be appointed liquidator.”

HOKONUI RABBIT BOARD
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act 1926, the Hokonui Rabbit Board hereby resolves as follows :—
“That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £1,300, authorized to be raised by the Local Government Loans Board under the above-mentioned Act for the purchase of a dwellinghouse, the Hokonui Rabbit Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of three-fifths of one penny per acre on all the rateable property of the Hokonui Rabbit District, and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable on the 31st August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

THE Public Trustee, as executor of Henry Thomas Loye, hereby notifies that the farming partnership carried on by HENRY THOMAS LOYE, late of Mangaweka, and SAMUEL JOHN LOYE, is reconstituted as from 7 July 1951. HILDA VIOLET LOYE, of Marton, Widow, is now substituted for HENRY THOMAS LOYE, deceased, and the partnership business is now being carried on by HILDA VIOLET LOYE and SAMUEL JOHN LOYE.

DECLARATION OF POLL ON PROPOSAL TO ADOPT SYSTEM OF RATING ON UNIMPROVED VALUE
PURSUANT to section 42 of the Rating Act 1925, I, hereby give notice that at a poll of the ratepayers of the County of Mackenzie taken on the 10th day of November 1951 on the proposal that the system of rating in the said county be on the unimproved value :—
The number of votes recorded for the proposal was 365.
The number of votes recorded against the proposal was 525.
Informal votes, 15.
I therefore declare that the proposal was rejected.

WAIMATE WEST COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act 1926, the Waimate West County Council hereby resolves as follows :—
“That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of two thousand five hundred pounds (£2,500) under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of erecting a dwelling for a Council employee, the said Waimate West County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 1⁴⁄₈₀₀d. in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Waimate West County, comprising the whole of the said county, and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of May and the 1st day of November in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty-five years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
