NOTICE is hereby given that the following special resolution was passed by the above-named company by entry in its minute-book, pursuant to section 300 of the Companies Act 1933, on the 10th day of October 1951:—
“ (1) That the company be wound up voluntarily.
“(2) That David Francis Woodcock, of Lower Hutt, Company Secretary, be and he is hereby appointed liquidator of the company.”

WHAKATANE BOROUGH COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Electricity Extensions Loan 1951, £15,000
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act 1926, the Whakatane Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:—
“That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £15,000, authorized to be raised by the Whakatane Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of extending the supply and distribution of electrical energy within the Borough of Whakatane, the said Whakatane Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one penny and one half-penny (1½d.) in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Borough of Whakatane, and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of fifteen years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
I hereby certify that the above resolution was passed at a meeting of the Whakatane Borough Council held on the 8th day of October 1951.

AUCKLAND CITY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Municipal Corporations Act 1933, the Cemeteries Act 1908, the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1926, the Local Government Loans Board Act 1926 and regulations thereunder, and of all other powers thereunto enabling it, the Auckland City Council hereby resolves as follows:—
“That, for the purpose of providing interest and other charges on the loan of seven thousand two hundred and ten pounds (£7,210), authorized to be raised by the Auckland City Council under the above-mentioned Acts for the purpose of redeeming at maturity the “Crematorium Additional Loan 1951, £7,210,” the said Auckland City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one thirty-sixth (1/36) of one penny (1d.) in the pound (£) upon the rateable value (on the basis of the annual value) of all rateable property in the City of Auckland, and that the said special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and shall be paid yearly on the 1st day of June in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being for a period of twenty-five (25) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

“That the company be wound up voluntarily.”
The following ordinary resolution was also passed :-
“That Mr. RICHARD OFFWOOD BALL, of Timaru, be and is hereby appointed liquidator.”

SUBSCRIPTIONS.-The subscription is at the rate of £4 4s. per calendar year, including postage, PAYABLE IN ADVANCE.
Single copies of the Gazette as follows:- For the first 8 pages, 6d., increasing by 3d. for every subsequent 8 pages or part thereof; postage, 1d.
Advertisements are charged at the rate of 6d. per line for the first insertion, and 3d. per line for the second and any subsequent insertions.
All advertisements should be written on one side of the paper, and signatures, &c., should be written in a legible hand.
The number of insertions required must be written across the face of the advertisement.
The New Zealand Gazette is published on Thursday evening of each week, and notices for insertion must be received by the Government Printer before 12 o'clock of the day preceding publication.
STATUTORY REGULATIONS
UNDER the Regulations Act, 1936, statutory regulations of general legislative force are no longer published in the New Zealand Gazette, but are supplied under any one or more of the following arrangements:-
(1) All regulations serially as issued (punched for filing), subscription £1 12s. 6d. per calendar year in advance.
(2) Annual volume (including index) bound in buckram, £1 5s. (Volumes for years 1941 and 1942 are out of print.)
(3) Serially as issued and annual bound volume, as in (1) and (2) above, on combined subscription basis, £2 7s. 6d. per calendar year in advance.
(4) Separate regulations as issued.
The price of each regulation is printed thereon, facilitating the purchase of extra copies.
Orders on the subscription basis should be placed with the Government Printer, Wellington. Separate copies may be purchased at the Chief Post-offices at Auckland, Christchurch, or Dunedin.
