Revoking in Part a Proclamation Setting Apart Crown Land for Housing Purposes in Nelson Land District

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to subsection (2) of section 9 of the Housing Act 1919, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby revoke, in so far as it relates to the land described in the Schedule hereto, the Proclamation dated the 9th day of March 1951, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 23 of the 21st day of March 1951, at page 410, setting apart Crown land for the purposes of Part I of the Housing Act, 1919, the said land being no longer required for such purposes.

SCHEDULE

NELSON LAND DISTRICT—BOROUGH OF WESTPORT

ALL that area in the Nelson Land District, Borough of Westport, containing by admeasurement 26·7 perches, more or less, being Lot 136 on plan No. 4411, deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Nelson, and being part of Sections 1001 and 1156, Town of Westport. As the same is more particularly delineated on a plan marked 6/2/6B, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 12th day of October 1951.

Additional Land Near Turakina Taken for the Purposes of the Foxton—New Plymouth Railway

A PROCLAMATION

WHEREAS additional land is required near Turakina for the purposes of the Foxton—New Plymouth railway, now, therefore, pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of the Foxton—New Plymouth railway.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land taken :—

A. R. P. Being
0 2 38·9 Part Lot 4, D.P. 1081, being part Section 32, Turakina District ; coloured orange.
0 0 27·2 Part D.P. 9216, being part Section 28, Turakina District ; coloured blue.

All situated in Block XV, Ikitara Survey District, Rangitikei County. (S.O. 22461.)

In the Wellington Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 11147, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Crown Land Set Apart for Railway Purposes in the County of Kaikoura

A PROCLAMATION

WHEREAS additional land is required at Claverley for the purposes of the South Island Main Trunk Railway, now, therefore, pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of New Zealand hereby proclaim and declare that the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for railway purposes; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 23rd day of October 1951.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken : 2 roods 31·7 perches. Being Section 17, Block XXI, Hundalee Survey District.

Situated in Kaikoura County. (S.O. 3930.)

In the Marlborough Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 11148, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.
