Proclaiming Maori Land to Have Become Crown Land

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 454 of the Maori Land Act, 1931, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, being satisfied that the purchase of the land described in the Schedule hereto has been completed by or on behalf of the Crown under the authority of the said Act, do hereby proclaim that the said land has become Crown land.

SCHEDULE

ALL that parcel of land in the South Auckland Land District, situated in Block III, Piopiotea Survey District, containing by admeasurement 98 acres 3 roods 31 perches, more or less, being Ohura South C No. 2, Section 3E No. 1 Block, and being all of the land described in Provisional Register, Volume 120, folio 18 (Auckland Registry).

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 10th day of September 1951.

Additional Land at Maraetaha Taken for the Purposes of the East Coast Main Trunk Railway

A PROCLAMATION

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of the East Coast Main Trunk Railway.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land : 14 acres 1 rood 19 perches. Being part Maraetaha 1A Block.

Situated in Block I, Paritu Survey District, Cook County. (S.O. 4663.)

In the Gisborne Land District ; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 11056, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 12th day of September 1951.

Declaring Land Taken for a Government Work, and Not Required for That Purpose, to be Crown Land

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 35 of the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to the Land Act 1948.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land declared to be Crown land : 1 rood 8·6 perches.

Being Lot 8, D.P. S582, being that part Allotment 6B, Parish of Waimana, called Lot 6B, No. 3B, Parish of Waimana, situated in the Borough of Whakatane, and being part of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 643, folio 165 (Auckland Land Registry).

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 17th day of September 1951.

Being part Lot 33, D.P. 3855, being part Allotment 10, Section 12, Suburbs of Auckland.

Situated in Block I, Otahuhu Survey District (Borough of One Tree Hill), (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 36565.)

In the North Auckland Land District ; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 135215, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 17th day of September 1951.
