IN LIQUIDATION

NOTICE is hereby given that, by a special resolution passed by the above company on the 29th day of August 1951, it was resolved that the company be wound up voluntarily and that THOROLD COVENTRY HARWOOD, of Wellington, Company Manager, be and he is hereby appointed liquidator for the purpose of winding up the company’s affairs and distributing its assets.

NOTICE is hereby given that the partnership between CHARLES MCINTYRE, of Ohingaiti, Farmer (who died on 17 June 1951), and JOHN BALLANCE MCKNIGHT, of Ohingaiti, Farmer, who carried on business of land-owners and farmers at Ohingaiti, having been dissolved as from 13 July 1951, the estate of Charles McIntyre has no further interest in that business.

NOTICE is hereby given that the following resolutions were passed on 6th day of September 1951:—
“ (1) That the company be wound up voluntarily.
“ (2) That ROBERT WILLIAM LITHGOW, Public Accountant, Wellington, be appointed liquidator.”

And I hereby fix the 24th day of September 1951 as the day on or before which the creditors of the company are to prove their debts or claims, and to establish any title they may have to priority under section 258 of the Act, or to be excluded from the benefit of any distribution made before such debts are proved, or, as the case may be, from objecting to the distribution.

IN terms of section 232 of the Companies Act 1933, notice is hereby given that the final meeting of the society will be held on Monday, 1 October 1951, at 7.15 p.m. in the liquidator’s office, Government Life Insurance Building, Marlboro’ Place, Hamilton.

Business: To receive an account of the winding up of the society.

BOROUGH OF MOTUEKA

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Drainage Loan 1950, £64,550

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act 1926, the Motueka Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:—
“ That, for the purpose of providing interest and other charges on a loan of £64,550, authorized to be raised by the Motueka Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of installing a drainage system, the said Motueka Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of thirty-one thirty-seconds of a penny (31/32d.) in the pound upon the rateable value, on the basis of capital value, of all rateable property in the Motueka Special Rating Area within the Borough of Motueka, and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan, being a period of twenty-five years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
