eastern and northern boundaries of part Section 14 aforesaid,
containing 504 acres 1 rood 33 perches, to the Mangahewa Road;
thence generally northerly and westerly along the eastern side of
the said Mangahewa Road to and westerly along the northern
boundaries of Lots 2 and 1, D.P. 5990, to the Stockman Road;
thence generally northerly along the eastern side of the said
Stockman Road to the south-western corner of Section 56, Tikorangi
District; thence north-easterly by the south-eastern boundary of

thence easterly by the southern boundaries of the aforesaid
Section 50 and Ngatirahiri 8& Block to the Ohanga Road; thence
north-easterly along the western side of the Ohanga Road to a
point in line with the north-western corner of part Ohanga 56 Block;
thence easterly to the said north-western corner, and thence south-
easterly and easterly along the south-western and southern
boundaries of the afore-mentioned block to the middle of the
Mangahewa Stream, and thence generally north-easterly down the
middle of that stream and the middle of the Onaero River to the
south-western corner of Section 6, Block VII, Waitara Survey District;
thence easterly along the southern boundary of the afore-mentioned
Section 6 to and across the Mataro Road; thence generally southerly
along the eastern side of the said road to the southern boundary of
Lot 2, D.P. 788 (Mangapoua Block); thence generally easterly
along the southern boundary of the said Lot 2, D.P. 788, to the
middle of the Mangapoua Stream; thence generally northerly
down the middle of the said stream to the south-eastern boundary of
Section 44A, Urenui District; thence north-easterly by the south-
eastern boundaries of Sections 44A, 43, 42, 41, and 34, Urenui
District, to and across Tikorangi Road; thence northerly along
the eastern side of the said Tikorangi Road to the south-western
corner of Section 20, Urenui District; thence by the south-eastern
boundary of the afore-mentioned section to and across Section 79,
Urenui District; thence northerly along the eastern boundary of
the aforesaid Section 79 to the south-western corner of part
Section 14, Urenui District (Kaipikari Block); thence generally
easterly along the south-eastern and north-eastern boundaries of
the said part Section 14, the south-eastern boundaries of Sections 12

boundary of Section 68, across Nelson Road, and along the south-
western boundary of Section 69, all of Urenui District, to and across
Lynch Road; thence generally easterly and southerly along the
western boundary of Section 7, Block VIII, Waitara Survey District;
thence easterly along the southern boundary of Section 7 aforesaid
to and across Kohangamoa Road and easterly along the southern
boundaries of Lot 2, D.P. 4298, and part Section 10, Block VIII,
Waitara Survey District; thence southerly and south-easterly
along the western and south-western boundaries of Section 16, the
south-western boundaries of Sections 17 and 18, all of Block V,
Upper Waitara Survey District, and the last-mentioned boundary
produced to the eastern side of Piko Road; thence north-easterly
along the eastern side of Piko Road to Okoki Road; thence south-
easterly along the north-eastern side of Okoki Road to the southern
corner of Section 9, Block V, Upper Waitara Survey District;
thence north-easterly along the south-eastern boundary of the said
Section 9 to Kaka Road, thence easterly along the southern side of
the said road to a point in line with the eastern boundary of Section 7,
Block V, aforesaid; thence northerly to and along the eastern
boundary of Section 7 aforesaid, and easterly and northerly along
the southern and eastern boundaries of Section 5, Block V, aforesaid
to the Mangamaiio Road; thence easterly along the southern side of
the Mangamaiio Road to a point in line with the south-eastern corner
of Section 12, Block II, Upper Waitara Survey District; thence
across Mangamaiio Road and north-easterly along the south-eastern
boundary of the afore-mentioned Section 12 and south-easterly
along the south-western boundary of Section 11, Block II, Upper
Waitara Survey District, and south-easterly and south-westerly
along the south-western and north-western boundaries of part
Sections 4 and 7, Block VI, Upper Waitara Survey District, to and
across the Kaka Road; thence south-easterly along the south-
western side of that road and the western boundary of Section 9,
Block VI, Upper Waitara Survey District; thence westerly and
southerly generally along the north-western and western boundaries
of Section 5, Block X, Upper Waitara Survey District, to and across
Okoki Road and generally south-westerly along the north-western
boundaries of Sections 2 and 1, Block X, Upper Waitara Survey
District to the most western corner of the last-mentioned section,
being the point of commencement. As the same is more particularly
delineated on the plan marked S.H.D. 172, deposited as aforesaid,
and thereon outlined in blue.
(d) All that area situated in the Taranaki Land District,
comprising portions of the Inglewood and Stratford Counties,
bounded by a line commencing at a point on the western bank of
the Waitara River in line with the northernmost corner of Section 45,
Block III, Huiroa Survey District; thence to and generally north-
easterly along the southern sides of the Autawa and Pita Roads to
a point in line with the north-eastern boundary of Section 11,
Block IV, Huiroa Survey District; thence to and generally northerly
along the eastern boundaries of Sections 11, 9, 7, and 5 and easterly
along the southern boundaries of Sections 3 and 4, all of Block IV,
Huiroa Survey District and the last-mentioned boundary produced
to the eastern side of Pukeho Road; thence northerly along the
eastern side of Pukeho Road to the southern boundary of Section 8,
Block XVI, Waitara Survey District; thence easterly along the
southern boundaries of Sections 8, 9, part 10, part 11 and 12,
Block XVI, Waitara Survey District; thence generally southerly,
easterly, and northerly along the western, south-western, and south-
eastern boundaries of Sections 3 and 4, Block I, Ngatimaru Survey
District, to and across Junction Road and generally northerly along
the eastern boundary of Section 2, Block XIII, Upper Waitara
Survey District, to the boundary of the Inglewood County; thence
northerly, southerly, and westerly generally along the Inglewood
County boundary, as described in New Zealand Gazette of the 9th
day of March, 1922, at page 629, to the northernmost corner of
Section 18, Block V, Ngatimaru Survey District; thence generally
southerly along the western boundary of Section 18, Block V,
Ngatimaru Survey District, across an unnamed road and generally
westerly and southerly along the northern and western boundaries
of Section 17, Block V, Ngatimaru Survey District; thence by the
production of the last-mentioned boundary to the middle of the
Waitara River; thence generally southerly, westerly, and northerly
along the middle of the said river to a point opposite the south-
eastern corner of Section 7, Block VIII, Huiroa Survey District;
thence to and generally westerly along the southern boundary of
Section 7 aforesaid and that boundary produced to the western
bank of the Makara Stream; thence northerly generally along the
western bank of the Makara Stream to the western bank of the
Waitara River; thence generally north-westerly along the western
bank of the Waitara River to the point of commencement. As
the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked
S.H.D. 173, deposited as aforesaid, and thereon outlined in blue.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the
Seal of that Dominion, this 11th day of September 1951.

Appointing Trustees for the Fishermen's Slipway in Waikawa Harbour

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington, this 5th day of
September 1951
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
WHEREAS by Order in Council dated the 20th day of December
1939, and published in the Gazette of the 11th day of the
following month at page 7, Charles Albert Cook, Walter Allen
Stronach, and John George Wrigglesworth were licensed as trustees
for the fishermen of the district to use and occupy a part of the
foreshore and land below low-water mark in Waikawa Harbour as a
site for a slipway:
And whereas the said Charles Albert Cook is dead and the said
John George Wrigglesworth has resigned as a trustee and it is
desirable to appoint some persons in their places to act with the
trustee already appointed:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the
Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers
and authorities conferred upon him by the Harbours Act 1950 and
of all other powers and authorities enabling him in that behalf, and
acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council
of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint
Alexander Adam,
William Robert Braid,
Darcy William McGregor,
to act with the said Walter Allan Stronach as trustees for the
fishermen of the district for the use and maintenance of the said
slipway in Waikawa Harbour.

WHEREAS by Order in Council made on the 6th day of
December, 1950 (hereinafter called the said Order in Council),
and subject to the determinations as to borrowing and repayment there-
in set out, consent was given to the raising in New Zealand by the
Balclutha Borough Council (hereinafter called the said local
authority) of a loan of sixteen thousand five hundred pounds
(£16,500) to be known as “Waterworks Extension Loan, 1949”
(hereinafter called the said loan):
