At the Government House at Wellington, this 5th day of September, 1951
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
Pursuant to section 112 of the Public Works Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby orders and declares that the portions of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become Government road.

APPROXIMATE areas of the portions of road declared to be Government road :-

The Western Side of Portion of Scholes Lane, in the Borough of Petone, Exempted from the Provisions of Section 128 of the Public Works Act, 1928

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington, this 5th day of September, 1951
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
Pursuant to section 128 of the Public Works Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby approves of the following resolution passed by the Petone Borough Council on the 21st day of August, 1950, in so far as it affects the side and portion of street described in the Schedule hereto, viz. :-
"The Petone Borough Council, being the local authority having control of the streets in the Borough of Petone, by resolution declares that the provisions of section 128 of the Public Works Act, 1928, shall not apply to the western side of that portion of Scholes Lane adjoining that portion of the Rope Walk Reserve adjoining part Lot 85 and Lots 83, 81, and 79, D.P. 101, being part Section 5, Hutt District, and being part of the land comprised in certificate of title, Volume 154, folio 85 (Wellington Registry)."
SCHEDULE
THE western side of all that portion of street situated in the Wellington Land District, Borough of Petone, known as Scholes Lane, fronting part of Rope Walk Reserve, part Section 5, Hutt District.
As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 132376, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

The Eastern Side of Portion of Nelson Street, in the Borough of Petone, Exempted from the Provisions of Section 128 of the Public Works Act, 1928, Subject to a Condition as to the Building-line

At the Government House at Wellington, this 5th day of September, 1951
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
Pursuant to section 128 of the Public Works Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby approves of the following resolution passed by the Petone Borough Council on the 19th day of June, 1951, in so far as it affects the side and portion of the street described in the Schedule hereto, viz. :-
"The Petone Borough Council, being the local authority having control of the streets in the Borough of Petone, by resolution declares that the provisions of section 128 of the Public Works Act, 1928, shall not apply to the eastern side of that portion of Nelson Street adjoining part Lot 85 and Lot 83, D.P. 101, being part Section 5, Hutt District, and being part of land comprised in certificates of title, Volume 37, folio 170 (Wellington Registry),"
subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the eastern side of portion of Nelson Street (described in the Schedule hereto) within a distance of 25 ft. from the centre-line of the said portion of street.
SCHEDULE
THE eastern side of all that portion of street, situated in the Wellington Land District, Borough of Petone, known as Nelson Street, fronting part Lot 85 and Lot 83, D.P. 101, being part Section 5, Hutt District.
As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 132376, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Authorizing the Laying-off of a Street off Mangorei Road, in the City of New Plymouth, Subject to a Condition as to the Building-line

At the Government House at Wellington, this 5th day of September, 1951
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
Pursuant to section 31 of the Municipal Corporations Amendment Act, 1948, and section 125 of the Public Works Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorizes the New Plymouth City Council to permit the laying-off of the proposed street described in the Schedule hereto at a width for the whole of its length of less than 66 ft. but not less than 50 ft., subject to the condition than no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on Lots 1 and 13 of a subdivision of the land fronting the said street (as shown on the plan marked P.W.D. 135139, referred to in the Schedule hereto) within a distance of 48 ft. from the centre-line of the said street.
SCHEDULE
THAT proposed street in the Taranaki Land District, City of New Plymouth, containing by admeasurement 1 rood 32·4 perches, more or less, being part Lot 1, Deposited Plan 6090, and being part Section 88, Fitzroy District.
As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 135139, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington, this 5th day of September, 1951
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
Pursuant to section 31 of the Municipal Corporations Amendment Act, 1948, and section 125 of the Public Works Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorizes the Palmerston North City Council to permit the laying-off of the proposed street described in the Schedule hereto at a width for a part of its length of less than 66 ft., but not less than 50 ft., subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on Lots 2 to 12 inclusive and Lots 16 to 20 inclusive of a subdivision of the land fronting the said street (as shown on the plan marked P.W.D. 135158, referred to in the Schedule hereto) within a distance of 48 ft. from the centre-line of the said street, or on Lots 14 and 15 of the said subdivision within a distance of 40 ft. from the centre-line of the said street, or on Lots 1, 13, and 21 of the said subdivision within a distance of 35 ft. from the centre-line of the said street.
SCHEDULE
THAT proposed street in the Wellington Land District, City of Palmerston North, containing by admeasurement 3 roods 15·24 perches, more or less, being part Lots 120, 121, and 122, D.P. 791, being part of Subdivision No. 5 of the Hokowhitu Maori Reserve.
