Crown Land Set Apart for Railway Purposes at Tuatapere

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for railway purposes; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 10th day of September, 1951.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of Crown land set apart : 1·4 perches. Being Lot 1, D.P. 4289, being part Section 6, Block XIII, Waiau Survey District.

Situated in Wallace County. (D.P. 4289.)

In the Southland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 11084, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon edged green.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 31st day of August, 1951.

Allocating Land Taken for a Railway to the Purpose of a Road at Piko Piko

A PROCLAMATION

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto forms part of land taken for the purposes of the Orepuki–Waiau Railway, and it is considered desirable to allocate such land to the purposes of a road :

Now, therefore, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by section 226 of the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall, upon the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, become a road, and that the said road shall be under the control of the Wallace County Council, and shall be maintained by the said Council in like manner as other public highways are controlled and maintained by the said Council.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land : 1 rood 34 perches. Being part Sections 16 and 32 (Railway Reserve), Block XIII, Waiau Survey District.

Situated in Wallace County. (S.O. 5885.)

In the Southland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 11054, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 28th day of August, 1951.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of the Thames Valley–Rotorua Railway.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land : 26·7 perches. Being portion of road in Proclamation 1582A.

Situated in Block XI, Patetere North Survey District, Matamata County. (S.O. 35188.)

In the South Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 11035, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 31st day of August, 1951.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of the Waitaki–Bluff Railway.

Situated in Block X, Arnold Survey District (Borough of Brunner), (Westland R.D.) (S.O. 4526.)

In the Westland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 133999, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.
