WAIKATO COUNTY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
In the matter of the Public Works Act, 1928
PUBLIC notice is hereby given that the Waikato County Council proposes to execute a certain public work--to wit, the formation of a road--for which purpose the lands described in the Schedule hereto require to be taken by the Waikato County Council under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1928, sections 22 and 23. A plan of the lands required to be taken as aforesaid is open for inspection at the office of the Waikato County Council, Hamilton East. All persons affected are required to set forth in writing any well-founded objections to the execution of such works or the taking of such lands and to send such in writing to the Waikato County Council, Hamilton East, within forty days from the date of the first publication of this notice.
SCHEDULE
5 acres 2 roods 18·3 perches, more or less, being part of Allotments Nos. 205 and 206 of the Parish of Hautapu and being the residue of the land included in Certificate of Title, Volume 31, folio 33 (Auckland Registry).
Situated in Block V, Cambridge Survey District, shown coloured blue on Survey Office plan 35184, Waikato County (Auckland R.D.), South Auckland Land District.
Dated at Hamilton, this 6th day of February, 1951.

CHANGE OF NAME OF COMPANY
NOTICE is hereby given that STRATFORD FARMERS' CO-OPERATIVE ASSOCIATION, LIMITED, has changed its name to THE STRATFORD CO-OPERATIVE DAIRY COMPANY, LIMITED, and that the new name was this day entered on my Register of Companies in place of the former name.

THE liquidator of SAMUEL BISHARA, LIMITED, which is hereby being wound up voluntarily, doth hereby fix the 21st day of February, 1951, as the day on or before which the creditors of the company are to prove their debts or claims and to establish any title they may have to priority under section 258 of the Act, or to be excluded from the benefits of any distribution made before any such debts are proved or, as the case may be, from objecting to such distribution.

PETONE BOROUGH COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1926, the Petone Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:—
"That, for the purposes of providing the half-yearly instalments payable in respect of a special loan of eight thousand five hundred pounds (£8,500), authorized to be raised by the Petone Borough
Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of constructing a Ladies' Rest Room and Caretaker's Flat in Bay Street, the said Petone Borough Council hereby makes and levies a rate of thirty-eight four-hundredths (38/400ths) of one penny in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property of the Borough of Petone, and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the said special loan and every part thereof, and be payable half yearly in the first days of February and August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty years or until the loan is fully paid off."
We hereby certify that the above is a true copy of a resolution passed by Petone Borough Council at a special meeting held on the 16th October, and will be confirmed at a special meeting to be held on the 13th November, 1950.

PETONE BOROUGH COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1926, the Petone Borough Council hereby resolves as follows :—
"That, for the purpose of providing the half-yearly instalment payable in respect of a special loan of twelve thousand pounds (£12,000), authorized to be raised by the Petone Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of constructing a new Municipal Yard in Udy Street, the said Petone Borough Council hereby makes and levies a rate of seventy four-hundredths (70/400ths) of one penny in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property of the Borough of Petone and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the said special loan and every part thereof, and be payable half yearly on the first days of February and August in each and every year during the currency of such loan being a period of twenty years or until the loan is fully paid off.';
We hereby certify that the above is a true copy of a resolution passed by Petone Borough Council at a special meeting held on the 16th October, and will be confirmed at a special meeting to be held on the 13th November, 1950.

NELSON CITY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
In the matter of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1933, the Public Works Act, 1928, and the Cemeteries Act, 1908.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Nelson City Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, to execute a certain public work—namely, the providing of land for the purpose of a cemetery—and for the purposes of such public work the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken : And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the lands so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Town Clerk to the said Council, situate in Trafalgar Street, and is open for inspection without fee by all persons during ordinary office hours. All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of such land who have any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said lands must state their objections in writing and send the same, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Town Clerk at the Council Chambers, Trafalgar Street, Nelson.

NOTICE is hereby given that by extraordinary resolution dated 6th February, 1951, the above company has resolved—
"That, by reason of its liabilities, it cannot continue its business and that it is advisable to wind up, and that Mr. Malcolm John Mason, of Wellington, Public Accountant, be and is hereby appointed liquidator."
