NOTICE is hereby given that the Public Trustee has filed in the Supreme Court an election to administer in respect of the several estates of the persons deceased whose names, residences, and occupations (so far as known) are hereunder set forth :—

Unclaimed Lands.—Notice by the Public Trustee Under the Public Trust Office Act, 1908 (Part II), and its Amendments
To the owner of the following pieces of land situate at Pyes Pa in the Tauranga County, that is to say: First, all that parcel of land containing 50 acres, more or less, being Allotment 357 of the Parish of Te Papa, and being the whole of the land comprised in Certificate of Title, Volume 575, folio 60 (Auckland Registry), limited as to title and as to area, and being all the land comprised in Conveyance No. 280k from John Duncan to John Magill of Tauranga, Settler, which conveyance bears date the 1st day of May, 1868. Secondly, all that parcel of land containing 50 acres, more or less, being Allotment 358 of the Parish of Te Papa, and being the whole of the land comprised in Certificate of Title, Volume 575, folio 80 (Auckland Registry), limited as to title and as to area, and being all the land comprised in Crown Grant No. 91028 (Record Number 3 G.K. 191), dated the 9th day of September, 1868, to John Magill, sometime Private in the 1st Regiment of the Waikato Militia.
WHEREAS, after due inquiry, the owner of the above-described pieces of land cannot be found. And whereas the said owner has no known agent in New Zealand:
Now, the Public Trustee hereby calls upon such owner, within six months of the date of the publication of this notice in the Gazette, to establish to the satisfaction of the Public Trustee his title to the said pieces of land, and if he fails or neglects to do so the Public Trustee will exercise as regards the said pieces of land the powers and authorities granted to him in and by the Public Trust Office Act, 1908 (Part II), and its amendments.

Notice of Vesting of Land in the Public Trustee Under the Public Trust Office Act, 1908 (Part II), (Unclaimed Lands)
WHEREAS I, the undersigned, the Public Trustee, have for the purposes of Part II of the Public Trust Office Act, 1908 (relating to unclaimed lands), made due inquiry with respect to the lands described in the Schedule hereunder and the whereabouts of the owner thereof, and have, in respect of the said lands, given the notices prescribed by section 66 of that Act and have in all respects complied with the provisions of that Act pertinent thereto:
And whereas the owner has not established his title to the said lands as required by that Act:
I hereby give notice that the said lands are under and by virtue of that Act vested in the Public Trustee as aforesaid as from the date of the publication hereof, and will be administered under the Public Trust Office Act, 1908, the value of the lands for the purposes of section 67 (d) of that Act being less than five hundred pounds (£500).
SCHEDULE
ALL that parcel of land containing 50 acres, more or less, being Allotment 507, Parish of Te Papa, Tauranga County, being the whole of the land described in an unregistered Crown Grant to Joseph Bartlett, Private of the Waikato Militia, and now comprised in Certificate of Title, Volume 779, folio 286 (Auckland Registry).

Declaring Land to be Subject to Part I of the Maori Land Amendment Act, 1936
PURSUANT to section 4 of the Maori Land Amendment Act, 1936, the Board of Maori Affairs hereby declares the lands described in the Schedule hereto to be subject to Part I of the said Act.

N.Z. FOREST SERVICE NOTICE
Milling-timber for Sale by Public Tender.—Southland Conservancy, Southland Land District
THE New Zealand Forest Service offers for sale by public tender the timber-cutting rights over an area of approximately 825 acres in Longwood Forest (S.F. No. 10), situated in Blocks XIX and XX, Longwood Survey District.
Tenders close at noon on 28th February, 1951.
The area is in the Happy Valley locality and is approximately seven miles from Pukemaori and Te Tua Railway-stations.
The timber resources of the area are believed to approximate six million board feet and the sale conditions provide for its extraction over an extended period. The milling-timber comprises the following species in approximately the proportions stated :—
