Classification of Roads in Bruce County
PURSUANT to regulation 3 (5) of the Heavy Motor-vehicle Regulations 1950, the Minister of Transport doth hereby alter the Bruce County Council’s proposed classification of the roads described in the Schedule hereto and situated in the Bruce County and doth hereby approve such altered classification as described in the said Schedule.

Notice of Intention to Take the Leasehold Estate in Land in Block III, Whangape Survey District, for the Purposes of a Road
NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1928, to take the leasehold estate in the land described in the Schedule hereto, held from His Majesty the King by Robert George Proctor, of Pawarenga, Farmer, under and by virtue of Crown Lease, Volume 710, folio 189 (Auckland Land Registry), for the purposes of a road. And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land in respect of which the leasehold estate is required to be taken is deposited in the post-office at Broadwood and is there open for inspection; and that all persons affected by the taking of the said leasehold estate should, if they have any well-grounded objections to the taking of such leasehold estate set forth the same in writing, and send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Works at Wellington.

Water Supply and Reticulation Loan, 1950, £150,000
PURSUANT to section 13 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, I hereby give notice that at a poll of ratepayers of the Borough of Rotorua, taken on the 25th January, 1951, on the proposal of the Rotorua Borough Council to borrow the sum of £150,000 for the purpose of improving the existing water supply system, constructing a gravitational water supply from the head waters of the Utuhina Stream, and providing extensions to reticulation of mains in the Borough:
The number of votes recorded for the proposal was . . 357
The number of votes recorded against the proposal was 55
I therefore declare that the proposal was carried.

Applicants and other persons considering themselves to be materially affected by the decisions of the Bureau of Industry on these applications should, not later than 22nd February, 1951, submit any written evidence and representations they may desire to tender.
