SECOND SCHEDULE
ORDERS IN COUNCIL AMENDED

  1. THE Order in Council dated the 21st day of February, 1921,
    and published in the New Zealand Gazette on the 24th day of the
    same month is hereby amended by deleting clause 15 of the Schedule
    thereto, and substituting the following clause :—

“15 AREA OF SUPPLY

“The area of supply hereinbefore referred to comprises the
Borough of Taumarunui as at present constituted, as shown out-
lined in red on the plan marked S.H.D. 136, deposited in the office
of the Minister in Charge of the State Hydro-electric Department,
and that part of the County of Kaitieke adjacent thereto in Block I,
Hunua Survey District, bounded by a line commencing at the
intersection of Maata Street with the Esplanade, on the north
bank of the Wanganui River, and proceeding thence south-easterly
across the Wanganui River and the river road to the eastern boundary
of Section 12; thence southerly along the eastern boundaries of
Section 12 and Scenic Reserve, and the eastern boundary of Sec-
tion E to its most southerly point; thence generally westerly along
the southern boundaries of Sections E 18, 19, and 20, and north-
westerly along the south-western boundaries of Sections 20 and 11,
and across the Wanganui River to its western bank; thence generally
northerly and north-easterly along the western and northern bank
of the Wanganui River, crossing the Ongarue River, to the point of
commencement; the said area being more particularly delineated
on the aforesaid plan marked S.H.D. 136, and thereon outlined in
violet.”

  1. The Order in Council dated the 9th day of February, 1925,
    and published in the New Zealand Gazette on the 12th day of the
    same month is hereby amended as follows :—

(a) By inserting, next following the words “clause 1 of the
Schedule hereto” in the operative part, the word “and”.

(b) By deleting from the operative part the words “and by
adding to the said Order in Council, clause 3 of the
Schedule hereto.”

(c) By deleting clause 1 of the Schedule thereto, and substi-
tuting the following clause :—

“1. EXTENDED AREA OF SUPPLY

“The extended area of supply comprises that part of the County
of Taumarunui in Block II, Piopiotea West Survey District, bounded
by a line commencing at a point near the west bank of the Wanganui
River, where the south-western boundary of Section Pt. N 2E 1c,

Ohura South N Block, abuts on to the Wanganui River Road, and
proceeding thence north-westerly along the south-westerly boun-
daries of Sections Pt. N 2E 1c, N 2E 3G 2F, Pt. N 2E, N 2E 3G 2A,
N 2E 3E, and N 2E 3D, Ohura South N Block, crossing the Kururau
Road, to the most westerly point of Section N 2E 3D; thence north-
easterly along the western boundaries of Sections N 2E 3B 1, N 2E 3B 2,
and N 2D 1, crossing the Pongahura Road, to the most northerly
point of Section N 2D 1; thence easterly along the northern boun-
dary of Section N 2D 2B for a distance of 45 chains approximately;
thence south-easterly along a right line across Sections N 2D 2B,
N 2D 2A, N 2E 3A 1, and N 2E 3G 3, 11B 2, and part way across
Section N 2E 3G 3, 11B 3 to a point 20 chains due west of Te Peka
Trig.; thence easterly to the Ongarue River; thence down the
Ongarue River to its confluence with the Wanganui River, and down
the Wanganui River and across the River Road to the point of
commencement; the said area being more particularly delineated
on the plan marked S.H.D. 136, deposited in the office of the Minister
in Charge of the State Hydro-electric Department, and thereon
outlined in blue.”

(d) By deleting clause 3 of the Schedule thereto.

  1. The Order in Council dated the 22nd day of December,
    1931, and published in the New Zealand Gazette on the 8th day of
    January, 1932, at page 6, is hereby amended as follows :—

(a) By deleting from the title thereof the words “and
extending”.

(b) By deleting from the operative part thereof the words
“and extend”, and the words “by adding to clause
fifteen of the said Order in Council the additional area
of supply described in clause one of the Schedule hereto,
and”.

(c) By deleting from the operative part thereof the words
“clauses two and three” and substituting the words
“clauses two, three, and four”.

(d) By deleting clause 1 of the Schedule thereto.

PURSUANT to section 149 of the Public Works Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand,

the portions of road described in the Schedule hereto.
