Retail Sale and Distribution of Motor-spirit

G. B. Hewson, Ltd., Tio Road, Umawera, R.D., Okaihau, has applied for a licence to resell motor-spirit from one pump to be installed on store premises at Tio Road, Umawera, R.D., Okaihau.

Applicants and other persons considering themselves to be materially affected by the decision of the Bureau of Industry on this application should, not later than 19th July, 1951, submit any written evidence and representations they may desire to tender. All communications should be addressed to Secretary, Bureau of Industry, C.P.O. Box 3025, Wellington.

J. Fyfe, Bledisloe Street, Kurow, has applied for a licence to resell motor-spirit from two pumps to be installed on service-station premises at Bledisloe Street, Kurow.

Applicants and other persons considering themselves to be materially affected by the decisions of the Bureau of Industry on these applications should, not later than 12th July, 1951, submit any written evidence and representations they may desire to tender. I HEREBY declare the results of the elections of members of the New Zealand Dairy Board held pursuant to the Dairy Produce Amendment Act, 1948, to be as follows —

I therefore declare the said Andrew Gibb Alexander to be elected as member for the aforesaid ward.

Law Practitioners’ Amendment Act, 1935

PURSUANT to the Law Practitioners’ Amendment Act, 1935, notice is hereby given that the Disciplinary Committee of the New Zealand Law Society on the 14th day of June, 1951, ordered that the name of Eric Allender Harrison be restored to the Rolls of Barristers and Solicitors of the Supreme Court of New Zealand.

Sale of Unclaimed Property

Police Department,

IT is hereby notified that unclaimed property in the hands of the Police at Auckland, Gisborne, Napier, New Plymouth, Wanganui, Palmerston North, Wellington, Nelson, Christchurch, Timaru, Dunedin, and Invercargill Stations will, if not claimed before Saturday, the 14th July, 1951, be sold thereafter by public auction.

Particulars as to the time and place of sale may be obtained from the Superintendent or Inspector of Police in charge of the District.
